Visited her to get some work done. It's not quite the right environment for that, but it was peaceful. I had an Arabic coffee which tasted a bit stronger than the one I had in Saudi but all of the right flavors were somewhat present. They were training a new waiter when I was there, I think he did a great job.
Food was alright. Service was very slow. We had to ask for a spoon for eating our soup two or three times before we got it.
The coffee shop is tastefully decorated and has ample seating even on weekend afternoons. Coffee and tea options are extensive, and the bites are delicious despite being slightly overpriced. They have a few old-fashioned board games too, if you're into that.
Love the outdoor and basement lounge seating options. You can make yourself comfortable and BYOB (although now for a charge). Have had several dishes of food here and have never been disappointed, and also enjoy the hookah. Service can be slow but always friendly.
You could spend the afternoon here. Beautiful atmosphere, from the lighting and windows to the comfortable seating. The staff is kind and friendly with their customers. And the food: A+. I haven't had such a good Turkish coffee in ages.
Great food, but I am not a fan of tea/drinks in here. The customer service is okay, not so good. Any way, I love the food in here.
Super expensive for "OK" quality food!!! They charge you like you're having dinner in a high end restaurant. We were charged $345!
These guys are so dishonest!!! We were 12 people and stopped by for a friend's birthday party. We were trying to order some light meal and tea. The waiter strongly suggested us to get a larger plate of chicken and share it and he said the portion was enough. The plate was not in the menu and he hided the price from us and also pretended that the plate was not that big, which is why we didn't ask the price. He also added couple of other stuff that we didn't order. The bill turned out to be $345!!! They had also added 20% tip. The price of plate itself was $195 and I think it was enough for 14 people. You think when you order a plate it should become cheaper but here it doubled the price. If we had ordered separately it would become $20 each at most. The food quality was ok but not great.
Amazing on so many levels. Great food/tea, Great Staff, and lots of space- great for studying, socializing etc- really couldn't ask for more.
I really enjoyed this place. The outdoor seating was great. We ordered the hummus with beef on top & the blueberry mint hookah. The hookah was smooth and nice to smoke. The hummus with beef was very good. It hit the spot. Andala is a perfect lunch spot or after dinner chill spot. I highly recommend it!
Fantastic coffee and service! The omelettes are amazing and come with fresh watermelon and salad (a nice healthy touch!). This is also a great place to power through a couple hours of work and feast on a variety of treats and coffee. Highly recommend for any meal!
Food fresh, tasty. No sense of hospitality and service, though polite, is at a very low level
I ordered a shrimp dish that was somewhat flavorful and quite over priced. The tea selection was good, but somewhat pricey as well. When I went, service was pretty bland: no one came to check up or refill water and ultimately I had to go up to ask for a check. I would go again for lunch probably but order a sandwich
Lovely place- where everyone is accepted and treated equally ! Highly recommended this place ! Also, great place to do some paperwork or study!
Amazing coffee. The porch was cosy. Nice comfort in the winter cold.
OK, so I've been here a few times now and the food is honestly really good. Each time I've come the wait for your order to arrive is RIDICULOUSLY long. The last time I came was on a Thurs night and the place didn't have a ton of people yet somehow, our single plate of food took 1 HOUR to arrive. We asked the polite waitress a couple times about our food and she just said it will come. I mean, 1 hour is not a normal expectation. I hope they look into whatever is happening there.
