Spent the night here and this is the best Red Roof we have stayed in. We travel with a dog so this chain allows dog at no additional charge. It was recently renovated and all felt clean and fresh! Beds nice and comfortable. Parking was ample to allow us to park camper close by. Will put this in our travel list for next year .
My car broke down on the way to work. I was doing a 12 hour shift, no car so I stayed at this place. Checked in at 2am. I asked for the noon check out so I could sleep in. I put the do not disturb sign out. At 10 something, house keeping was trying to come in. Then shortly after 11, someone was knocking on the door saying check out time. I'm like, I have the noon check out. Frankly it would have been nice to have a discount, I was there for less than 8 hours and they don't keep track of who has the late check out.
Nice place for a great price. Will probably be a little nicer after renovations are complete. Breakfast was being prepared by 6 instead of ready by 6 but that was minor.
This hotel is under remodel, but once completed it will be nice! I think the name will change again as well. Our room was almost done, but could smell the fresh paint from down the hall. I would stay again. Wished they had had fresh fruit on the breakfast menu. But overall typical breakfast.. DO NEED better pillows though!😀
Very nice family who runs this hotel. They have been doing a great job upgrading the place. The low price is totally worth a great stay.
Good for the price. Had clean rooms and a decent breakfast. Comfortable bed. 👍
Some things in the room and bathroom had been recently updated and others were obviously well worn.
Star rating based on the low price paid. New Management, Staff very friendly, good sized room, quiet, free coffee, new A/C units. Good location, if you find yourself needing a room out in Americas Heartland. Good food nearby.
Hotel was clean and well maintained, management is doing alot of updating that is apparent. Beds were comfortable with fitted bedding/sheets and room had microwave and fridge with cable television , desk & chair, bathroom remodeled with ok water pressure , a/c quiet and efficient .
Breakfast was continental but good, hot coffee and the outside smoking area had 2 tables, and butt cans.
The hotel is multi-level but no elevator (older hotel bldg), limited additional parking in the rear, the check-in clerk was very pleasant and accommodating (rare).
The room had no place to hang clothes or put luggage up though.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again if in the area. 👍👍
The woman who runs this hotel is friendly and kind. She was a great help to me I was on the road crossing the country and looking for a nice pet friendly hotel and it was just what we needed. The hotel was clean, quiet, and you could tell she is working to continually improve it. I would definitely stay here again.
There's really not much to say, as I want staying at the Inn, just visiting my relatives. I didn't even see the inside, never getting past the parking lot. It seemed nice enough. My elderly relatives love the place though, and it's the place they always stay when they come down.
This is the best value of any reasonably priced lodging I know of. Better than most higher priced lodging as well. Exceeded my expectations in every way.. super modern clean rooms, excellent beds and linens, beautifully decorated. Great staff. I will never stay at any other inn while traveling through the Kansas City, Missouri area!
Clean room and clean bathroom. The front desk was professional and answered my questions. My room is clean, yes there's always something someone can find to improve but for the price it's a good and clean location. I'd definitely stay here again.
Everytime I pass through Cameron I stay at this hotel. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always extremely friendly.
If you're looking for upscale and perfection this is not the place for you. Both times I have stayed here they have been working on repairs in the room. They really care about the upkeep of the hotel. The only negative is that the walls are patched everywhere in the room. I stopped counting at 14. There are no elevators so you have to walk up stairs to the upper floors. The hallways are dimly lit.
It's an older hotel with a unique charm despite it's imperfections.
Price was good , maintenance in the room was less than desirable, but room was clean. Shower head was too low for average height person. Quiet place to stay not far off I 35
