This place has great rates. The staffing is kind. If you visit Shelby N.C I recommend this place. You will not regret it. Plus the rooms are always clean. Thank you America Best Value Inn

Will never stay here again. This place is so disgusting. Non-smoking room smells like an Ash tray. Dirty and burned blankets. Dirty walls. Stray cats in the property. It is just awful.

Bed bugs! We stayed here, and initially had a good experience. My husbands review is the most recent one seen below. After returning home, we discovered that the rumors of bed bugs are true. We are now scrambling to eradicate them from our home. The owners really need to exterminate! I will say that the customer service was great. We were initially happy with our stay.

We were relieved to find a reasonably priced quiet hotel on our way back for the eclipse. Customer service was excellent (the manager Paul was courteous and helpful). The room was fairly clean, and a good quality for the low price. The central courtyard has a nice outdoor pool, a with nicely maintained yard.

It's cheap. That's what ya get. If you're stopping to stay here, that's probably what you're looking for anyway! Staff is friendly enough when you see them. But, don't leave any valuables if you plan to stay multiple days!

Love staying here.. The rooms are clean, so far it's always been quiet.. There's a pool. Staff is friendly.. Could do a little better on their Continental breakfast Next door to Bojangles, with plenty of eating places right up the street Local stores and places to shop Overall, it's a very nice place

When I pulled up, I started to drive off because I thought they had been abandoned. Till I saw some life inside. Good news is, they were changing the lights so there is possibility they are updating eventually (Including an actual "American Value Inn" sign on the building itself). Great if you are working on the road and just need a place to lay your head for the night.

For the price it's a 5⭐️ place. Clean room, clean bathroom(my biggest concern). Great breakfast(fresh waffles, juice, fruits, coffee,). Front desk was friendly, called me to estimate my arriving time. Free wifi. Everything you need to rest. Thank you! Will be in this area, definitely will stay here again.

My favorite hotel to stay at in Shelby. I absolutely love the jacuzzi room. They have updated the rooms since the visit before last. It is always clean, and the staffcis friendly.
