My room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was ok, not the best. I had a mini fridge, microwave. Its in a good location and inexpensive. I was there 2 nights.
Overall, good for a motel. Good value considering location near tourist area.
Not very accommodating regarding late checkout, said they were full but then let me pay for another night, so obviously not full.
There is a nice sized mini fridge and a microwave in the bedroom. Small HD tv in bedroom, none in lounge. Should be in both or in lounge in my opinion. Bedroom is separate from lounge which has a small sofa, coffee table, and dining table with 2 chairs.
Complimentary bathroom things are very low quality.
Room was clean, water pressure good, and bed comfortable.
No pens or paper pads.
Restaraunt next door very good.
Getting to San Clemente pier and T beach is walkable or a quick Uber ride.
Laundry is across the street.
Only blackout curtains, no liner, so curtains must be drawn at all times unless you want strangers seeing everything you do.
Room is dated and needs improvment. Nothing spectacular, but a good bargin room. Relatively clean aside from hair on the bathroom floor. The front desk clerk clearly didnt want to be there was was unimpressed we wanted to check in. Dont expect a bath because they plugged (crudely) the water jets and put up a sign saying no baths or the room will flood. Bed was low quality.
Would I stay here again? Probably because it was cheap.
This property is located in proximity to the 5 freeway in San Clemente on the North Side, adjacent to it is located Hapa J's a Hawaiian restaurant. Hapa J's have good delicious fresh food. The office for the Inn is located downstairs, the staff is promt in responding but a little too dry and brief in dealing with guests for any questions. Check out is at 11:00 am and adhered to.The good news is the rooms are nice, when I booked I got a den with a couch and sit down dinette table for 2. The bedroom was decent size with a comfortable bed. The bathrooms were clean and the amenities and decorations were fine. The price paid for such a unit was decent, definitely a place to stay upon your visit to San Clemente.
Hands down the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever been in in my entire life. You could eat off the floor. The front desk I was terrible but I give it 5 stars because it was so clean and the rooms are really nicely updated flat screen TVs really huge shower a really nice hotel actually I was impressed, budget-friendly prices. Century Located middle of San Clemente across the street there is a really Good Cafe called "Pipes"
Very dirty and ultra basic reception area. receptionist was coughing without covering his mouth and rude. Not very nice. The room, itself, WAS clean though. Dark. So rooms were ok everything else felt dated and cheap and marginal
Worth every cent paid! Room was clean, sorta 80's but clean and neat. Smelled good and was well stocked. Breakfast was a basic continental with no frills. Front desk staff was excellent. The only things I didn't appreciate was the "hidden until check out" funny tax and safe charge. Not a big deal but $7 that sorta slips up on you.
If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. My husband and I were staying here for two nights already paid in advance. The first day we were out at the store and received a call from management that we needed to come back RIGHT NOW. We got back to the hotel and the cleaning staff and manager had a small pile of hair on the floor in our room and asked us to identify it. We said it looks like dust, owner and cleaner claimed it was small amounts of dog hair. We told them we didn't have a dog but own one at home therefore it's on some of our clothes and suitcases (normal). Owner said if we have one we will be fined, if notwe'll be okay. Next day we put the do not disturb sign on our door and decide to sleep in. We are woken up by the maid service opening our door, with the owner; ready to clean. My husband walks out of our room into the living room area and tells them we do not want their services today. Owner tells us we have no choice and all 3 walk in. I quickly slam the bedroom door shut because I am not dressed appropriately. The owner begins to yell that they ARE going to clean and we need to step out for 10 minutes. We were in total shock but obliged. I soon realized that they "surprised" us in hopes of catching this imaginary dog we have. Needless to say they did not find our invisible dog, dog food out or toys. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly in a establishment. This review is the first of many for the way we were treated this morning. DO NOT COME HERE! GIVE YOUR MONEY TO A HOTEL WORTHWHILE AND NOT TO SOME PSYCHO CREEP!!!
Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was a little stiff. Management called the day before our check in to verify our credit card. The call came in at 7:00 AM, waking up me and my husband. We asked about early checking during this phone conversation. We were told if there was a clean room available, we could check in early. That didn't work out, but oh well. Management could use a little help with customer relationship skills. Perhaps charm school. Oh, and two more things, someone from housekeeping knocked on our door at 10:45AM, ignoring that 'do not disturb' sign on our door, to ask us if we checked out yet. She also reminded us that check out was in 15 minutes. We received a 'ghost' phone call earlier, just assumed it was the front desk. No interest in staying there again.
