Incredible mountain if you want to get out of park city and the resorts! Stuck to the back side for less steep blues during early season -- when not all of the mtn. was open

One of the best ski resorts in the world. Mellow atmosphere, amazing snow, good customer service, and wonderful terrain.

Alta is one big, friendly (most of the time) playground for skiers of all ages and abilities. The ski school is world class, the ski patrol folks are the best there is and everyone else is awesome.

Come play at center of the skiing Universe

Great skiing and great place to teach kids how to ski. We do the Sunnyside ski after 3 pass and it has been affordable and just right for teaching our kids how to ski. Facilities have been good and functional and the staff has been friendly and helpful.

This skiing is the best. I almost always ski here. The people are nice, and the powder and off-trail is amazing. Definitely recommend

I use to Ski Alta but the lifts are operated poorly and very slow! They have made themselves feel as if they are a high class resort when there is many problems that are clearly in front of them. They can start with a staff that actually likes to work!

Best ski resort I've ever been to. Great runs for all ages/skill levels. Nice and big with comfortable lifts - facilitates long runs.

This is a great place to ski! The back country access is nice and you could spend an entire season or two learning the ins and outs. I was a skier and then moved on to snowboarding when all of my friends switched over. Then I went to Alta and spent a couple seasons skiing the area and this rekindled my love for skiing. It is nice to have a place that isn't like the rest of the resorts.
There is a bunch of hate on here about discrimination. Alta isn't keeping anyone from enjoying this mountain; accept the challenge and just learn to ski. You might even like it.

No snowboarders. excellent. Also, gorgeous Terrain and some superb snow conditions. I really love coming there and like how they preserved the old ski vibes from when people were kind and connected to the mountain in a way that would not negatively affect others.

One of my favorite places. It has soul and history and a very dedicated staff. Nothing plastic or glitzy here, but it has the classiness that comes with authenticity. There are opportunities for skiers of all levels to have fun.

Alta has a no frills, local ski hangout kind of feel. There is no big resort center to hike through between parking and the slopes, just a ticket window, locker rooms and restaurant. The skiing is excellent. Some of the steepest groomed hills I have seen. I especially loved all the runs down the Collins lift.

Absolutely love this place! Skiers only, good mountain with terrain for all types and levels of skiers. We always park in the Albion Basin area. If the bottom lot looks full, go to the top and ski to your vehicle after. A powder day at Alta will change your life forever! :)
