Delightful stay at this quaint lodge! Angela at the front dest was helpful, kind and just had made delicious warm chocolate chip cookies. Perfect after a long day of travel. Joseph who is one of their maintenance staff was extremely helpful in giving us useful tips about visiting Grand Teton National Park. The complimentary breakfast was extensive and yummy. We look forward to staying at the Alpenhof again!
So so. Would not be worth the money during high season. Here for work on off season. Dated lobby and rooms. Asked for change to do a load of laundry and got looked at like a had two heads. Dispenser was out of detergent. Bath had tile from 70's. Didn't get tissues until 4th day. Peeling paint on the baseboard heaters. Curtains cover the air-conditioner. Stained and scratched toilet seat lid. TV must've been moved or downsized, still has holes in the drywall. In desperate need of a maintenance program. Extreme lack of outlets. There was literally no where to plug in my charger except the bathroom. I've stayed at much nicer holiday inns and best westerns. Again, to be fair it was not horrible just not a good value.
Had dinner at the restaurant, on the patio. Bavarian pretzel and 3 different kinds of sausage. It was very good, the service was quick and attentive. I would definitely come back here to eat again.
This hotel has the best location in Jackson Hole, the price was good and the breakfast was amazing. Only problem was that the rooms were very old style and had no refrigerators or microwaves. Other than that they had little escalators that take you to the top for free after 5pm.
Nice cozy place to stay. Front desk seemed inexperienced. Had to carry luggage up a half flight of stairs in order to reach elevator. Room was fine and included breakfast was above average. Fantastic location in Teton Village right next to the tram up the mountain.
This is a reasonably priced place to stay for the location. It's not modern or fancy, but it has great old world charm. The beds and rooms are comfy, the breakfast is good, the location is great (only a mile from Grand Teton park), and the staff was fantastic! Thanks Alpenhof staff for making my stay so pleasant! The only downside was the construction that was going on while I was there. Love the Alpenhof and would definitely stay there again yes if I ever go back that is where I will stay!
Cozy, European charm. Wonderful staff, clean and casual. Convenient location and reasonably priced.
OK hotel with very dated facilities. Wifi was spotty. But it was great to be so close to the lifts and tram!
A very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It may need some updating here and there, but I think that was part of it's charm.
An Austrian authentic Lodge with a lot of history built into it which makes it quite special and unique. With that comes the other side of the coin, it's not very updated as far as the rooms go. However, the included breakfast is phenomenal, the best I've ever had from all the other hotels and lodges visited before. Just wow. If you appreciate uniqueness and historical details, this place is for you.
I loved the rustic mountain feel and decor, great woodwork. It really takes one back in time and back to Europe. There are some modern amenities, of course, such as TV and a decent bathroom, but not refrigerator and microwave, so be aware if those matter to you. But I have to say the absolute highlight was the awesome free breakfast. Either my European taste buds met their match, or this is the best free hotel breakfast I ever had. I couldn't stop eating their house made Austrian pastries.
