Great location across from the beach and walking distance to State Street or shuttle. But very dirty!

They don't have free breakfast. Nope. Not unless you call instant coffee and cheap bread breakfast. When we reserved a room, we knew it wouldn't be the most fabulous place. But I didn't expect a room where the windows wouldn't close, the paint and wood would be peeling off, and homeless people laying right outside our door. Expensive due to the location, but cheap as hell. The only upside, and what I give the stars towards, is the bathroom and wifi. The wifi is strong in this one. And the bathroom is so cool it belongs in a nice hotel.

This quaint motel has so much charm and an unbeatable location! Only the street separates you from the beach. Loved the southwestern style tile floors and giant jacuzzi tub. We got to watch the new GoT on HBO for free and they allow dogs. Only downside is there's no a.c. but the ocean breeze cools the place down at night. Can't wait to go back!

I wouldn't stay here again. The price is right and the beds are fine but the rest of it is old and run down. They need air conditioning very badly, you wouldn't think you would need it when the high is 75 and the low is 60 everyday, but it was so hot inside the room that we could hardly sleep, even with the windows open. Also, no screens on any of the windows. The bathrooms are strange, no towel racks at all and the showerhead comes right out of the ceiling, pointing straight down into the tub. Quirky place for sure.

Great location. Rooms are older and walls are paper thin, staff was nice.

WARNING - THERE WERE BEDBUGS HERE!

I stayed here a few years ago and discovered a couple of days later that I had over a hundred bites on my arms from bed bugs staying here.

Love the Spanish look of the motel, it really illustrated the culture of the town.

Cute & quaint. Right across from the beach & they welcome pets with no pet deposit! This was a great plus for me! We travel with our 2 dogs & it's hard to find places that allow pets without charging you an arm & a leg. Don't think the hotel is worth the $200 a night they charge. But then again, you're not paying for the hotel, you're paying for the location.
