Nice and clean hotel with balcony. No receptionist or front desk, you'll have to check in at the main property

Paid $200. And received a crappy room not even located at the main building had to drive two blocks down. Room with no heating or air conditioning working. Reached out to front desk and got no help. Bad experience.

Worst Hotel in Santa Barbara. Rude and unprofessional staff, awful rooms especially the building away from the main property. Changed rooms to the main property and it has a back door to the parking lot with only a chain for a lock. #neveragain #hyattsucks

Basic hotel. The motel 6 across the street probably has the same setup in the room for Alot less. Don't waste your money here. Splurge when going out. Or at the four seasons

Great location. It is a satellite location for the Hyatt Centric. Only a block off beach. Discounted rates because if it.

The location is gorgeous, and the beach is only a few steps away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well-stocked and comfortable, and the decor is appealing.

Great helpful staff. Parking not too bad. Room could use a little maintenance, but great experience all together.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. The pictures are a lie, the Santa Barbara house is an old decrepit building situated across from train tracks and a field full of homeless individuals.

Aside from the terrible accomodations, the service was even worse. We showed up to the Santa Barbara house with no clue how to check in (along with 2 other couples who were also aimlessly walking around the property trying to figure out how to check in). Apparently you have to check into the Hyatt hotel to get access to the Santa Barabara house, never explained, huge pain.

The cherry on top was the fact that the hotel somehow managed to charge me for stay ($400 for 2 nights) and ALSO managed to charge us an additional $1,200 on our debit card without notifying us!!!! When we saw the charges the manager told us "it was a keystroke error" and "they have a lot of new associates working". What a load of crap, we were promised a refund which WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED, and management has been unresponsive since we checked out.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, THEY ARE A DISORGANIZED MESS AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, THEY LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AND TRY TO STEAL FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS' BANK ACCOUNTS

Great location to the beach. Lovely walk or bike ride to the pier and downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel is made up of 5 buildings, some closer to the water than others. Rooms are nice and staff is friendly.

The room was nice enough, except our heater was broken. They couldn't fix it, so they fortunately were able to move us next door to a room with a working heater. However, after a couple minutes of running the heater in the new room, a strong smell of sour, used gym socks started filling the air. It was coming from the heater. Not wanting to have to switch rooms a second time, we just ran the heater while out to dinner and then kept it shut off after we got back to the room.

Another thing that turned us off was the fact that, despite calling the hotel after booking our reservation to let them know we were bringing our dog, they did not have this info in their system and did not have a dog bed or bowls ready for us at check-in. It took them over two hours (after calling the front desk to ask for these items a second time) to bring the bed and bowls to our room.
