Good food. Service is slow.seems to be under staffed everytime I've been there. If you have to worry about time it a great place.

Why is Health Dept score only 3.5???
Fish tacos in my opinion would be better with slaw rather than iceberg lettuce. Server very nice and helpful (Kimberly).

This place has good pub fare. By far some of the best chicken tenders in the area according to my daughter and my wife enjoys the sandwiches. The appetizers are great too. I'd go there for the pork nachos alone. Service is generally good but I would avoid the steak. The 2 times I ordered it the steak came out well done ( I ordered medium rare). Both times management corrected it and were nice about everything. The tacos are great too!

Food is good and customer service is consistent. Cookie skillet is amazing! Restaurant environment could be better, but overall worth the trip.

My family and I have been eating here for years and we absolutely love it! Food is consistent and tasty (especially love the flatbread pizzas!) and prices are very good. One of the best kid menus around, too. The atmosphere is great as well. Highly recommend!!!

The food is unique and very good. Service is a little slow so take time to eat. Also it's a good place for kids or date night.

Whether you want to split appetizers with your friends or have a nice family dinner, Afton Tavern is the perfect place to go. It has a warm environment, nice patio, friendly servers, and delicious food. The bacon cheese fries and the cookie skillet are must-haves!

Called in earlier to ask about the rueben, Nick answered with a warm greeting and proceeded to tell me his opinion on the sandwich and that it was one of the best he's had. He was definitely correct not only was it amazing, it survived a 20 min trip home without getting soggy cause the cooks were very smart and put the sauerkraut under a layer of corned beef which preserved the bread. Not only did I enjoy my son who is 2 years old and extremely picky grabbed half my sandwich and devoured it. If I could give this place 7 stars I would. Definitely a local gem!!!

Eating outside was pretty nice and service was good except for the desert that took forever and was actually comped. Inside was lacking. We were sat in a large room that was not decorated and just had a bunch of tables in it. The food was pretty good, but my sister ordered crab cakes and when they brought everyone elses food they informed her that they were out and had to make some from scratch so her order would be delayed. So when everyone else finished she was finally served. It just turned a normal 1 hour dinner into 2 because we all waited for her to finish to order desert. Their cookie skillet is amazing.
