Great morning on water. Weather now is nice. Our guide Dan is knowledgeable, we spotted manatees & various sea birds. Kayaking thru the mangroves was the best. Our tour took 2.5 hours. No down time. Perfect.

Top notch outfit. Great instruction before we got on the water, very knowledgeable, entertaining guide. You can certainly tell they are concerned with the environment and want their customers to be educated and have a relaxing tour. I will be contacting them again.

The tour was wonderful. Our guide Dan was great, very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. Although we did not see any dolphins we did have a manatee swim up to my kids kayak. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

My friend and I had such a great time on our tour with Dan yesterday! He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and patient as I learned how to kayak for the first time. We saw not one manatee, but a group of them and Dan helped us get as close as possible without scaring them. It was AMAZING! We also saw jellyfish, oysters, birds and crabs which I was not expecting. It was a beautiful 2 hours spent up close with nature. Thank you SO much for this experience of a lifetime. The price is reasonable, the tour was easy to book and the guide was great.

We've now gone on two tours with Adventure Kayak, 4 years apart. And both times our experience exceeded our expectations. Wildlife is unpredictable, but our guide Dan (who we also had both times) was able to direct us to manatees and dolphins. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We have various levels of kayakers among our group and Dan does a great job giving a tutorial before heading out on the water. We hope that the next time we're back on the island, Dan and his company will still be around. This tour has definitely become a family tradition. Can't recommend it enough.

Dan was our guide and he was great! It was really windy and he made sure we were on the best path and that we stayed together as a group. He was also super knowledgeable and respectful of the environment/animals! It was great!

Dan was amazing! He was courteous, knowledgeable, and entertaining. We went to the 9 am kayaking mangroves tour. We saw several manatees including a young manatee that spent 20 minutes weaving in and out of our kayaks. We were within inches of him on his terms. We also saw several birds, tons of fish, sea stars, sponges, a dolphin, and so much more. I would give 10 stars if I could! Environmentally friendly, peaceful, and the tour of a lifetime!

Amazing time on the Mangrove tunnel tour! Dan was an awesome guide! Saw a manatee up close even though it was really late in the season! The tour was about 2.5 hours and we saw a huge variety of wildlife and scenery. Was a good value for the $ but wasn't too strenuous for anyone in our group which included ages 12-69. Easy to book, super friendly, would definitely go again.

We had a beautiful day for kayaking and were lucky to see a manatee this time of year. Our guide Dan was very friendly and informative and showed us so much marine life we would have otherwise missed. The trip through the mangrove tree tunnels was fantastic! We will be back!

From planning to getting out into the water - AKO was AMAZING. I planned the outing for a group and I speak on behalf of all of us when I say the kayaks, guide, and overall experience was incredible.

Dan was friendly and funny, he made the tour fly by! Thank you for an event my members will be talking about for weeks (more likely months and months) to come.

When friends from Ohio came to visit recently, we searched for something different to do. They'd been here several times in the past so we didn't want to simply go back and do the things we always so. When kayaking came up in the discussion, everyone thought it was a great idea.

Adventure Kayak Outfitters did a great job to make our afternoon fun and memorable. Dan was our kayak leader and led us on a leisurely four+ mile tour of Sarasota bay and the mangroves. We joined others (had about 12 in our group in all) for this tour and Dan did a great job at keeping our group together, talking about the area and what we were seeing. While we didn't see dolphins or manatees, it was still a great afternoon. My husband and I joked "why haven't we done this before now?"

We won't be waiting for out of town company to return to get back out with Adventure Kayak Outfitters again. We loved being on the water and can't wait to get back out there.
