When I walked into the building I instantly felt very welcomed by all the staff. I am extremely grateful for the care and knowledge I gained. Truly a fabulous place and 10 out of 10 would recommend.

After surgery I called the physical therapist office that my doctor recommended as part of his rehab program. BIG MISTAKE!! It took over a week to get a return phone call and when I got the call the people were rude. So I called Active Physical Therapy. The first person I spoke to was so nice and set up my appointment for the next day! Talk about accommodating! Active Physical Therapy is a phenomenal rehab facility! I worked with ALL the therapist in the Frederick office, Lynn Brewer, Lucas McCollum, Andrea Stone and Jennifer Wittich all of which are very pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional to work with. No matter which therapist I work with they knew my doctor's protocol inside and out. All the support staff and interns were phenomenal as well. Everyone takes a personal approach and the staff cares about the services they provide. Not only do they make you feel like an integral part of the team but more importantly they make you feel like part of the physical therapy family. The offices, physical therapy floor area and equipment, are very clean, well organized and above all maintained properly. Because of the superb treatment and dedication of the Active Physical Therapy Staff I was able to make a full recovery and my doctor released me a month earlier then expected! I hope I don't need physical therapy again but if I do there is no other place I will go. Thank you all again!

I can’t thank the staff at Active enough. For 2+ years the knowledgeable staff at Active has worked with me through various injuries from my back to 2 knee surgeries. As a Triathlete the last thing you want to hear is you will not be able to run again. But thanks to the delicate staff at Active, after 2 years of no running, I ran my first 3 miles since my second knee surgery and will be towing the line in Nov to Run the Bay Bridge. The knowledge I gained from the Active team has helped me immensely as well. I know how to better care for my body and have a wealth of exercises that keep me strong and moving. I have recommended Active to many others but most importantly to my own daughter who took my advice and went to Active when she had a running injury. If you are looking to get help for an injury I highly recommend checking out Active.

Great practice all around. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was explained clearly and any question I had was answered. The Staff made PT enjoyable and I looked forward to each visit. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Without a doubt Andrea Stone is the best physical therapist I have ever had. From being told my injury was potentially career ending to now, I know I wouldn't be where I am without her. I am almost back to where I was before my injury Not only is she genuine but she is extremely intelligent and knows her stuff!! If you go to Andrea for PT, I promise you will not regret it.

Active Physical Therapy has one of the best environments around for rehabilitation. The staff is always friendly and greets patients with a friendly "hello." The equipment and training tables are always clean for each patient, cleanliness is one the top priorities for staff. The patients are always the number one priority for employees. The staff helps with rehabilitation every way possible with their extensive knowledge of the human body. Every patient is put on an exercise plan specifically engineered to them. These exercise plans are fast and efficient for all patients to make a full recovery or a recovery to the best of a patients ability. Active Physical Therapy is one of, if not the best outpatient physical therapy businesses in Frederick and the surrounding areas.

So far, only my first visit, but it's a been a pleasant and hopeful experience!

I have a herniated disc and it's been bothering me for almost a year now. I've tried chiropractics, acupuncture, heat globes, massage therapy, and an epidural shot and painkillers, but this is certainly the best experience so far.

Andrea was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She took the time to learn about my injury, go through some initial exercises, and then come up with a diagnosis and treatment plan. She explained the situation in such a way that I could understand the process and be optimistic about the outcomes - quite unlike a doctor I've seen whose 2 initial recommendations based on my x ray and MRI were either epidural shot or surgery.

My first time treatment included a traction device and heat and stim, both of which felt great! I would highly recommend this place.

Warm, welcoming, family is how I describe Active Physical Therapy. For a number of years I've been smiling because of Mr Supreme, given great nutritional advice by Magic Hands, follow up by Mad Dog, with warm welcomes from Lauren and Laura. If you want to know who they are you have to go to find out. Together they will get you moving again.

The staff is absolutely fantastic. Every one of them genuinely cares about the patients progress and overall well-being. I've been there for over a year now for a complicated knee issue, and they've been with me every step of the way. I can't recommend them enough. I am so thankful for their help with my recovery!

After having shoulder surgery, I was referred to Active Physical Therapy for a work hardening program and was there for about 3 months , 6 hours a day. They made sure that when I returned work that I would be able to fully do my job. They listen to your needs and your expectations and try to fulfill them. With their knowledge and your hard work you should have no problem getting healthy. They also made sure that I would be able to do the things in regular life that I did before. I played a lot of baseball, softball, and golf. They put me through exercises that would allow me to do those kind of things again. With Lucas playing college and minor league baseball and Kyle playing baseball, they were very knowledgeable on what I needed to do to get back in the game.

My daughter is 13 and plays competitive travel softball. I was so pleased with them that after her wrist injury and major knee surgery, of course I went there for her rehab. After 4 and a half months of rehab she is playing catcher again at 100% Thanks toLauren,Lynn,Andrea,Lucas,Kyle,Jenn,Laura, and Catherine we are all healthy. Definitely go there.

I feel so lucky to have been referred here by a friend. When I first began receiving treatment here, I was in so much pain in my neck that I was barely able to sleep. My MRI wasn't showing much and I was beginning to think that other than a TON of muscle relaxers, that made it virtually impossible to function, I wasn't going to ever feel normal again.

I loved the way that Lynn and Lucas listened to me about the pain and discomfort I was feeling. There were many times that my pain changed throughout my treatment and they were able to guide me through the entire process because they listened so closely. They never pushed any exercise or treatment that I wasn't ready for or didn't help. For these reasons, I was able to quickly gain the tools that I needed to get better. As a stylist, I would have pain as discomfort at work, and because of the exercises that Kyle taught me, I was quickly able to manage my pain and get through each work day.

I am so thankful for the care I received from the ENTIRE staff. They are warm, knowledgeable, caring, often hilarious and there for me during a terrible time. I wouldn't have healed without them and recommend them to anyone wanting to gain the tools, confidence and strength to work through any injury.

Interning at this office has been an incredible experience. The whole staff is very knowledgeable, and extremely welcoming. Lynn has been such a mentor to me the past few months I have been here. Including the rest of the staff who have each individually taught me lessons I will carry with me throughout life. I highly recommend Active Physical Therapy!
