NEVER USE THIS FLIGHT SCHOOL! Gus is a con man who just wants to rob you. They use old and unmaintained aircraft; most likely hoping that you crash so Gus can get an insurance pay out. Avoid, unless you want to deal with a rotten old con man and take the risk of crashing!
I couldn’t have been happier with the level of professionalism, constructive feedback, and genuine interest in helping me become a better student pilot. I feel I have my confidence back. Thank you Gus!
Best Experience ever and the pilot is very very friendly , flown the Piper 140 and it was very safe and exciting! Definitely gonna try it again!
I started with this school as part of a 141 program with LCCC. Overall the initial experience was exhilarating, but after 10 hours of flight the CFI was very short and rude. As far as the owner is concerned he overbooks his CFI's making their life miserable. The aircraft is very old and tired, rates are far above market value as far as rentals. I paid 190 per hour just for a 152, which had equipment that did not work. Gus is the owner, he only seem to care about making money, everything else comes secondary including how he treats his clients.
I took my business elsewhere.
The owner - Gus is an absolute Jackwagon ! Aside from lacking the most basic people skills, he is most interested in telling you what you cant do instead of what you can do. The aircraft are old and tired. Check out Gateway Aviation at Queen City. Great place to train - aircraft are better equipped and maintained. More bang for your rental rate buck - and without the obnoxious management.
