I brought my child in to get a style done. The lady was so rough with her head my daughter was bawling crying asking for her to stop but she still listened and sat still. All the other ladies kept coming by saying how good she was being and how shes too pretty to be crying, they were trying to distract her because even they felt bad. My child has curly hair and a lot of it, but it is fine, thus you can not be pulling her hair like someone with course thicker hair. I should have asked the lady to stop and leave parenting fail, I didn't. Finally she was done and it looked terrible. You can not put gel and then hair spray on top then brush it down or it will leave white flakes which is exactly what happened. On top of that the sides were not even, parts were sticking out that she tried to fix with bobby pins but failed. And it took her 20 min just to part her hair, I was about to take the comb from her and do it myself. Anyways we got home (after 3 hours at the salon) and I ended up taking it all down and doing something else to her hair myself which actually looked professional. What seemed to be a teacher kept checking in but never told her how terrible she was doing. My child is mixed with various races, her aunt told me to make sure it was a black or mixed woman doing her hair, I listened and it was a fail. I knew about the white flakes and such after certain gels and then to top it off with hair spray and brush it. Cringe. She obviously has not been educated enough with the fake head to be working on people's hair yet, especially any children.

Enrolled here because I thought it would be a good school. It was not. You have to pay 10 dollars per hour that you aren’t there , so no sick days.
The staff here doesn’t care about you , they care about the money you will make them. Miss Casey and Sidney were the only caring people in this school.
When I decided this wasn’t the school for me , they would not give me the kit until I pay off my students loans which turned out to be 5,000 plus dollars even though I was only there for 3 weeks.
It took them a week to print out the papers for me to leave the school , I had to show up at the school since they wouldn’t call me back about when the papers would be ready.
Very unprofessional. If you consider going here I hope cosmetology is 100% for you. They only offer a cosmetology program here so if you’re considering esthetician do NOT bother with this place.
The inside of the building needs a serious update as well. The atmosphere here doesn’t scream beauty industry and neither do the people. If you like to look and feel your best as anyone in the beauty industry should , this is NOT the place to go.
I truly wish I would have never enrolled in this school and looked into other options beforehand. Go to school where they care about YOU and your future in the beauty industry.response / report this review -

Was there last night and everyone there was so great. Got highlights and low lights and an awesome pink peek a boo! My hair dresser was Christy and she did very good work! I will be back!!!!!

Casey C. Did a beautiful job cutting my hair! She was precessional and she really made a great experience for me! She was even kind enough to help a client out that wasn't even hers when she saw she couldn't find her stylist! This is great customer service! Great job!

Olivia did an amazing job today with my nails. She kept a great conversation going while she stayed busy working on my manicure. She even gave me a hand massage, which was perfect! She sold me on a few hair products, too, and definitely knows her stuff! Awesome service and manicure.

By far the best prices for hair, nails, facial, ect. Maddie J is by the only girl I'll ever go to again. She always amazes me! :)

Maria did such a good job on my hair and I love it so so much. She toned out my color and did a steam infusion I mean it really looks nice and I am grateful❤️ y'all go see Maria she does it all

Alyssa Shollenberger did an awesome job with my wash and steam infusion. She took her time, listened and communicated well exactly how I wanted my hair styled. I definitely recommend her because she is confident, passionate about hair and does well with ethnic hair. Thank you again Alyssa and it was a pleasure having you as my stylist at educator of beauty

My stylist was Sydney Kelley and she did an amazing job. She made sure to ask exactly what I wanted done and double checked how short I wanted my hair cut. She also keep casual conversation going my whole appointment. Great atmosphere and would definitely go back to Sydney again.

I brought my daughter to Educators and she was linked with Courtney. Courtney was polite, professional and made my daughter's experience a great one. She provided a shampoo and flat iron for my daughter which was excellent. She also talked on how we should maintain my daughter's hair and products we may want to use. My daughter absolutely loved her hair and I can't stop her from playing in her hair. We will be back to see Courtney again and I suggest you see her as well.

My stylist was Monica Brogan. She was such a sweet girl and amazingly knowledgeable about her processes. My appt was for a hair color that I needed so badly. She assisted me in picking out just the right color for me given my total gray coverage. My hair came out amazing! I look forward to seeing her again for my next color! Super sweet girl and she will be an asset to her field! Highly recommend!
