Check BBB and do your research first! The 1 star reviews on here don't lie. Roy (who apparently also goes by Nathan and Leroy?) Is a crook. We had him come in for a job a couple years ago to fix a busted pipe, which wound up leading to replacement of pipes throughout the entire house. I asked him to leave the copper pipes, which he agreed to, then had his "coworker" (a plumber/likely his friend from another company) load it up and take it away while we discussed the job. Part of the replacement required tearing a hole in the basement ceiling, which was terribly repaired by some guy who took off quick, leaving the job unfinished and looking terrible. This was likely because he'd busted a towel rack off the wall and didn't fix it or mention it to anyone. After the job there was no hope in contacting him. Don't use this "company".
Buyer beware! I had ABC over to add a pressure reduction valve in advance of a planned water pressure increase in my neighborhood and did not ask for a quote before service. I expected normal plumber prices ($200 an hour plus parts). Instead I got charged $1500 for a new shutoff valve and PRV. There was 2 hours of labor, including a trip to home depot for the PRV that they did not have (I told them prior to the appointment that was what I was what the service was for). I had to be a part of the process the whole time. I pointed out that by adding the PVC pipe, we would have to move the house ground connection lower to meet code and did most of the work to make the cable out of my own left-over wire. In addition, I had to find and dig out the ground around our water meter to enable the process. I assumed I would be charged a reasonable price, so I tried to be helpful. If I break down the price conservatively we get $100 for a new shutoff valve, $100 for a new Pressure Reduction Valve, $1300 for two hours of labor ($650 per hour). I should quit my job as a PhD scientist and become a plumber. Shame on me for not asking for a quote in writing before the job.
Furnace Repair: Emergency/Same-day/Weekend Service:
The technician who came out was personable and professional. He maintained social distance and wore a mask as recommended by the CDC. Arrived at the designated time, did not prolong the job. Identified the problem and quickly found a resolve. Pricing was competitive. I would highly recommend ABC Plumbing.
We first found out about ABC Plumbing when we had a clogged sink emergency. Our neighbors were actually the ones that told us about them. The appointment was set up and carried out quickly. Since that dayThey are the only plumbing company that we use. The plumbers are extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Thank You for always doing an outstanding job!
