Hubbard's Mechanical seems like a good company. When I contacted them for questions about heating my basement with a mini split they agreed to come out and said the quote was free. Chad and Preston came on Thursday and said another team member would be back on Monday and this person would do some type of calculations needed for the estimate. The following Tuesday, they called to say it would be $500 to do the load calculations, but that would come out of the cost if I went with them. This helped me decide real quick not to use them. I'm disappointed because I feel like they wasted my time. HVAC companies either give free estimates or they don't.
