The seats are small. Good for kids, but not adults. This will be my last time in this theater. When a movie night costs this much you should at the very least be comfortable, not cramped.

Over all a nice establishment the staff was friendly but didn't open another vending register when there was a large line of people waiting for snacks an employee also forgot to give me a drink I ordered

I really like this theater. It is usually quiet and clean. The restrooms are kept stocked and the staff attends to them regularly. That is VERY important. The Premier Stubs membership rewards help a lot. Whomever came up with that program is a genius.

One of my favorite theatres It's close proximity to the 12 means ya can pretty much catch any movie "Now Showing." The bonus of this one is the IMAX offering.

Needs to make improvements. We went last night to see Daddy's Home 2 for the 7pm show. Well we got our tickets and she sold us tickets for the show that was already half over instead of the upcoming show. Had to get the manager involved to get proper tickets. Then when we got into the theater we say in the front row behind the wall and someone had kicked in all of the drywall with a carpet on it. It just seems like they aren't taking care of any of the upkeep on this place. We will be going to Portage IMAX from now on.

Who doesn't love going to the movies. Especially to an excellent movie with cold drinks, pop corn and pizza!

Showplace 16 is still the place in the area to see a movie. Theaters are kept clean. Starting to show their age, some of the more frequently used seats are worn & uncomfortable.

The people taking the money for tickets or treats are always pleasant. The restrooms are clean and so are the theaters!

I prefer Marcus Orland Park because of the comfortable seats but also because of the fact that they get some of the good quality movies that AMC Schererville does not get until later. For instance the movie "Jackie" has played at Marcus Orland for the past two weeks. I've called AMC Schererville to find out when it's playing there and can never get an answer! The armrests at AMC are hard, no padding at all. Totally outdated.Edit: went there yesterday, April 26, 2017. They've done away with the small size popcorn, now it's only medium or large. The medium was $8.01 with tax and is more than I want. Stuff like this will keep me at home watching movies on TV!

They need to put in more comfortable seats like the Marcus theaters have. Seats here are very uncomfortable and you have almost no leg room. I highly recommend taking the extra 10 minute drive to go to the Marcus theater in Chicago Heights. With comfortable leather seats and ample leg room it makes Showplace 16 look like a dump.

Overpriced food and drinks are always in every theater.. but the bathrooms are always clean, the food is good, the theaters are cleaned after every showing, and the staff are always accomodating and pleasant. Plus if they run out of theaters there is always their sister AMC down the street; its smaller but same deal
