The only thing that is great about this place is the price. I hate the pricing and sizes for beverages, the smallest size is a medium. Also the entire place is grimy.
This theater is great! Comfy seats and the chair arm rises up +1 and the tickets are the cheapest in the area! Plus dollar store right outside the theater too - cheap snacks cheap movies - this place is heaven! Audio and visual in the theater is on par with any other theater. Developers want to demolish the mall unfortunately so enjoy this place while you can! Its a wonderful gem.
Large screen, loud sound (perhaps a little too loud), basic seating, but comfortable enough, though the screen I was in was way too warm (so warm that I was sweating throughout the film, and the heat made me sleepy) and the theater smelled like an Indian gas stationI like incense in my own home, but not when I'm trying to enjoy a film. Perhaps the incense is attempting to cover up the faint stale body odor it other such scent was hitting it. There was also a blue line running across the entire bottom portion of the screen.
For the price of a ticket, it's a good deal, though I have Movie Pass and can pretty much see films anywhere, so I may choose another big screen for a more comfortable and well balanced experience in the future. Oh yeah, it was sketchy as hell having to go through that "mall" to get to the entrance.
I like this theater. It's got comfortable seats. Large screens and great discounted price. Never huge lines. This is a decent theater with cheaper tickets than any other current releases movie theater in Atlanta at $6.50-9 tickets. I recommend it.
Ideal location for a theater but the mall property leaves much to be desired and has outlived it's useful life. The theater's customer service could be improved with training and new on-site management. If you forget an article of clothing or keys in the theater, don't be surprised if they throw it away (remember, this isn't AMC @ Phipps). Also don't plan to hang out at the mall before the movie unless you work security for a living or enjoy sketchy food courts flanked by abandoned corridors with empty tenant spaces. If you're doing a documentary on declining retail centers, this is perfect for you. It's tolerable for matinees, probably not for adult dates. Good luck and be brave!
Mr. Battle is excellent! His customer service is always A-1.
We've been coming to this theater for years and we've only had a couple mishaps with the audio in a particular theater, but the staff is always sure to rectify the situation.
Low cost. Good size theater. Comfortable chairs and spacious. I gave four stars because they could
Work on cleanliness. But over all. My fav.
This theater is really something else, on top of expensive concessions the hallways smell just like the bathrooms. The seats in the theaters smell the exact same. I don't know if this is because they do not clean the bathrooms or if homeless people sleep in the theater at night. The entrance was extremely hard to find, and when it was finally found I felt as though I was walking through an indoor alley in order to get to the theater. Unless you enjoy searching for barely visible entrances at night, trying to ignore the smell of pee while you watch, and enjoy over priced concessions, then you are better off just trying another theater close by. First and last time here!!
Please save your money and time do not waste your here!
The mall was fairly quiet, between shows. The staff was friendly and patient when we couldn't find the conformation code. The person suggested different ways to find the ticket. The people at the concession stand greeted us and told us about their Tuesday sell and was very Pleasant and welcoming when we walked up. I would really like to come back again to such a positive attitude and clean movie theater
Is this the best theater in town? No, not really. It is however the cheapest. Concessions are tasty, prices are fantastic, and the staff is super nice. Worth the trip to see something new! Get there early for concessions - it usually requires a bit of a wait because the counter is small.
Clean theater,.. just get there early to find a sit. Cheapest theater in town. But,.. needs a Awesome up grade. Sound in every Auditorium is not the best. But its great to see a afternoon movie. Not so much at night.
UPDATE!!!
All auditoriums are up grade with prefect sound!
It's a dirty dump. The theater is so meagerly staffed that there are long waits for everything. It looks like they rarely clean common areas as there is trash everywhere. They also don't pay attention to the many people jumping theater to theater on a single ticket.
At a recent visit they were still selling tickets to a showing that had dozens of people demanding refunds because the theater was full. The supervisor denied it was sold out but rudely offered a refund when pressed. I'm sure it wasn't sold out; I imagine many in the theater he not bought a ticket for that showing.
This location is a lost cause.
I love going to this theater. Sure, you have to walk through a dark and dingy back hallway. Sure, there's always been a rowdy person in the theater at each movie I've been to. Sure, the lines can be long if you don't get there early enough.
But it's clean. It's very inexpensive. It's possibly the best movie deal in Atlanta (anywhere?).
The food is expensive but it's a movie theater so what do you want?
My family have been coming to this theater for quite some time and thus far the staff are very friendly! They clean the theaters after each movie is finished so the next set of patrons will come into a clean environment..The bathrooms are always clean. Great customer service here!!!
Mixed reviews for this. Ticket prices are cheapest in Atlanta at the expense of quality. Some auditoriums are really good with great sound but not all of them. I have been watching movies here for while, had both the good and bad experience. I will recommend this for the budget concerned and those who don't want to spend much on movie tickets.
