No automated kiosks to pick up tickets you purchased online, you have to get in line with everyone else. The seats are all very large, recline, and are very comfortable though. There's also lots of room in front of your seats for aisle space so you don't have to get up if someone wants out.

This is the best and most comfortable theater around. Excellent movie snacks, awesome reclining seats, and some privacy in your seat. I won't go to any other theater! I feel like when I take my family there we can enjoy the movie in peace and not bother anyone else if our young daughter wants to run back and forth between mom and dad during the movie.

I've been visiting this theater for two decades, and since they overhauled their seating, they have become the most comfortable place in town to watch a movie. I even like sitting in the front row because the seating has a footrest that swings out while the back tilts backwards.

I especially like coming here for matinee movies where you pay less than $6 for a movie. My only complaint is that there's not as good of options for food, but let's be honest, are you really going to the movies to eat food?

Does not stack up to Celebration. First, if you don't buy their "Premier" service package expect to wait in line. I had five or six people cut in front of me in line when I tried to buy a ticket. Soda and other prices are high. 32 oz soda is $6 at AMC and $4.50 at the competition. Prices at theaters are so high already this place only makes it worse. Seats were comfortable. There are better options for a theater in GR.

I love the seats. They're recliners and there is plenty of space. You don't have to ask people to move just to get to your seat.

Best theatre in townmaybe in all of michigan.seats recline and they're so comfortable. The leather chairs make watching a movie so relaxing. Only complaint would be the price of popcorn here.$8.15 for a small popcorn. Threw me off when he told me the price.

Such a great update from its previous state. Super comfy seats and much more modern. The sound has improved greatly. Only downside is it's still insanely expensive for food, but having worked for the theater in the past, I understand it's how they make money from movies. That being said, it's nice to not have to drive all the way to Celebration and usually the theater isn't full like it is at Celebration. Very friendly staff too!

Awesome experience. I don't even care to go anywhere else to see a movie. The remodel put this place back on the map. The seats are the best I have ever experienced at a movie theater. Very spacious and comfortable. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Very comfortable reclining seats. And I love that you can reserve seats online. The sound quality is great and the staff is friendly.
The only issue I have with this theater is the projectors have a bit too much motion blur. Maybe it's just the movies I've watched or maybe it's just me. Either way, this establishment gets 5 stars.

I have not been here for six years. 1st, I could not contact them on the phone for times of movies. 2nd, I get there and the movie times were wrong. I went to a 5 pm showing of Kong, and the time on the website was wrong and only off by almost three hours. I got there and purchased the ticket, and found reserved seating only. Old school as it should be is first come first serve. 3rd, now I have to eat the cost of the ticket because of no refunds allowed because when I got home I found I have another chore to do. This new system of computer only and reserve seating is stupid. The person who thought this "genius" plan should be fired. (1st Amendment protected) I am not going back, I know I will not get a refund, it is their policy from what the cashier told me. The survey shows an answer for "gender neutral restrooms", when they ask that, it is time to total boycott all the AMC theaters. (1st Amendment protected).

OMG if your going to see a movie, it's not worth it unless you come here!!!! Seriously the spacious seating is AWESOME!!! They have seating that is basically a lazy boy chair that is adjustable! You can literally relax and be COMFY! SO WORTH THE TRIP if your in Grandville or Caledonia!! I highly recommend coming here for movies!!! Great popcorn too ugh💕

Usually we have a great time and this our preferred theatre. We come from out of town and reserve our seating ahead of time. We also signed up for the premiere membership. Our last experience wasn't so great. We had reserved our seating per usual, but when we got to them a couple was already in them. They thankfully moved, but they refused to show us their tickets and claimed other people stole their seats. We'd rather not have this happen again. There's a reason why there is assigned seating and a reason you can pick your seats online. We were also watching a movie not so little kid friendly, however someone brought their little ones and the violent scenes scared them and made them cry disrupting the movie for us and possibly others. When we went through the concession line for premier members we were over looked by the employees. We pay a membership for the deals and perks. We paid for convenience. And our last visit was probably the worst we ever had. I hope this was just a fluke and our other visits won't be anything like this one. We are a laid back couple. Understanding that things happen every so often, but the theatre shouldn't allow little ones to go into a violent movie knowing they will get scared and disrupt the movie for others. And with the amount of people going into the theatre, it might be beneficial to have someone help finding good the right seat or correct the issue.

I don't know why some people are so upset with this place. It was remodeled a few years ago and now its amazing. I've been going for 2 years and its the only theater I go to. All chairs are recliner now (they are huge too!) The ticket and concession prices are the same as any theater in town. I've only had good experiences here. BONUS: you get to pick your seats when you buy the tickets (so no hoping for the best). You can order your tickets online as well & pick seats there too!

Surprisingly awesome. I'd been to "star" theater a hundred times over the years and it was always ok. Seats were eh, food prices were "eh", etc

This was the first time back after their updated theaters. The seats were amazing, sound and video were great, food was still "eh" but who cares. Full automatic reclining leather seats.

    Will be back!
