I'm rating this as a theater and spot to get food since it is a dine in theater. Big comfy seats, attentive wait staff, call buttons on the seats, on and off reading lights to see the menu, and choice of alcohol all are on the plus side. The only two negatives would be the food is pretty average and the theater is small. This theater allows you to choose your own seat so buy you tickets in advance otherwise you might be left we undesirable seats. As it is relatively small the good seats can go quickly.
I used to LOVE going here but now they rarely show the new hottest movies in the "nice" theaters. By nice i mean the ones that actually have the power recliners. They aren't even showing the new Star Wars in the nicer ones the Saturday after it comes out! Its been like this for the last year or so. I guess with not having the new Star Wars with recliners is my last straw. If they were to put the new most wanted movies in the recliner rooms again i would go back. Also, I cant even find a phone number on the AMC site to call the theater. (google had it though)
We have now switched to Harkins at the Scottsdale mall.
PS AMC website revamp they did a year or so ago is TERRIBLE.
Really nice theatre. This was my first time and surprisingly the waiters walking by did not interupt the movie at all. I wish the bar in between my two seats came up. But I was told different theatres do have arm rests that come up. Decent food not great. And VERY expensive (especially the alcohol, holy cow). But, you're getting served dinner in a movie theatre and it's a fun experience. So I guess you're paying for that.
Was a nice theater. Drinks are pricey, and i wish that more theaters had the reclining seats. Plus both elevators were not working so would have been nice if there was a easier way to get up to the third level without walking three flights of stairs since i had my disabled mother with me. Other than that the service was great, and there was many options for showings.
The movie was Amazing!
The food was good!
The customer service was GARBAGE!
The experience was way too expensive, you could get somewhere else more affordable and with better customer service.
Please tell me how many things on the menu have the same namenonewith that said they messed up our order, had us waiting longer for our food didn't offer a remedy or at least an apology!!!
And on top of that they have themselves a $10 top from our card. THIEVES. ROBBED US OF A MOVIE GOING EXPERIENCE AND MONEY!!!!
5 star except.it would have been nice if they told us upfront what time the kitchen closed. My daughter wanted dessert after her wings but the kitchen closed. We didn't know it did while the movie was still going. ðŸ˜
The experience is definitely one to remember. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is what you would expect does not overly impressed however is not terribly overpriced. The Lazy Boy seats are something to be savored. You get the feeling of watching the big screen movie in the comfort of your own house very intimate. The only thing to be prepared for is to have an enjoyable town you will be spending a large amount of money.
There are two different types of theaters in here: cinema suites and regular. Cinema suites has the electric foot rest lazy boy type chairs. The regular one is not like a regular theater in that the seats are more like La-Z-Boy chairs however, they do not recline.
Both types of theaters have a full course meals along with regular movie popcorn candy garbage.
They've change the menu once or twice since opening this remodel and it's usually quite good but if you're wanting to avoid dairy or you're vegetarian, it's a little bit tricky. It's too bad because the first menu was quite good in that regard.
Tip: get your parking ticket validated. It used to be free parking on Sundays but as of 2017, it's still pay to park so it pays to validate.
Overall, having been to all the luxury theaters in the Valley, this one is still the nicest.
This used to be a luxury joint, but I think they've kinda gotten to the resting on their laurels stage. Food is gross. Seats are a bit wobbly and have need of repair to upholstery. Service itself felt less than polite, much less "luxurious". All of this wouldn't be horrendous if ticket prices weren't that of a luxury cinema. Go to a megaplex or an actual luxury theater.
Great upscale movie theater around the Biltmore area. I have been coming here since they re-modeled 3~4 years ago. Definitely one of the best theaters in the valley. AMC Stubs reward loyal program waives online processing fee when reserving tickets. The only gripe I have about this location is its menu prices continues to go up. $16 + tip for an order of chicken tenders and fries is quite high.
We went to the 8.45 showing of #BeautyandtheBeast so the theatre was pretty dead. Positive note: the seats were clean and had no rips or tears in them. (Like i have experienced in the past)But the smell was a little overwhelming! It smelled very musty as if the air had been off for several days without circulation. The rest of the venue was clean and well attended with a small staff count.
I will continue to go back for many reasons close to home and they serve cocktails to your seat!
LOVE this experience. The food is priced really high however the food is really good. The ideal way to see a movie!! Ask ahead if the movie you plan to see will have reclined seating. Some of the movies are in smaller theatres and the seats do not recline. All of the theatres have servers though.
We had a pretty good time here, saw Beauty and the Beast in 3D. I've been to nicer theaters, you can't lift the arm rests or recline here. The food was good, no complaints there. I don't appreciate being charged $5.19 for 1 soda. When you get a drink at a regular theater, they're expensive because of the cups, not the actual drink. The menu didn't list prices for fountain drinks, I would have had water instead if I'd known.
My family loves going here. You get to choose your own seats which are oversized comfy chairs. There is a pull out table attached to the chairs for you to enjoy your food. The food is very well prepared. A great menu selection. This is a great place to go for date nights are those times when you just want your dinner, adult drink and movie at the same time.
