Ok so the bio park is awesome! Last time I went I believe I spent $15 or less on a ticket that got me into all three (zoo, aquarium, botanical garden) The zoo is small but mighty. They are adding on and creating a really nice place for the penguin. I have never had a bad time here

For ABQ being such a small city, our zoo is amazing. The facility's are clean and well kept and there are endless things to do. The playground is amazing and the animals are so fun to watch! I would highly recommend a zoo pass for families. The pass gets you into the zoo, aquarium and gardens.

Great Zoo, lots of different animals, great experience for families.. It's a lot of walking so wear your good shoes though. Kids will love it. I saw quite a few animals that Ive never seen before. My favorite was the monkeys and there babys

Grassy knoll area in the middle is great for a picnic as well.

This is easily one of our favorite places to visit for family fun. The kids love zoos and we have been to plenty. This one just seems to be easy and has terrific animals and enclosures. The layout is great and there is plenty of things to do. Their events are always fun.

This zoo is overall great and in my opinion one of the best places in Albuquerque to spend the day with young kids and family. The zoo is nice and over the years continues to grow and get better. We always buy the family annual pass and really enjoy visiting several times a year. Two thumbs up!

Such a happy zoo. Staff are friendly and animal experts are happy to answer questions when they have time (and they do make time if they're out and about in the public spaces). Lots of zoo babies every time I visit which to me is a sign of a well-run zoo. They put a lot of resources into upgrading animal areas for better living environments. (I am very sensitive to zoos with unhappy animals, and I love this place.)

Lots of areas for kids to play and burn off energy and from what I can tell a nice café (I usually don't get anything but drinks there - the few times I got snack cups of crackers etc. they were stale - but I think they've redone their menu since then.)

Went on a Sunday , not crowded at all and had a wonderful experience with my family. We took advantage of the combo tickets and explored the aquarium and botanical gardens as well. Worth every penny ! Take your own picnic lunch and enjoy at the botanical gardens , highly

We had a wonderful time! The zoo is very nice, although the penguin exhibit was not open, as they are building it still. Love all of the open grass area for eating our picnic lunch. My 4 year old granddaughter enjoyed feeding the ducks and Koi fish. Glad they have food for sale for the ducks and fish. Wonderful place!!

I give our zoo 5-stars, not because it is the greatest zoo in the world. It doesn't come close to achieving that mark, but I give it a LOT of slack given the size of our city. I highly recommend coming to the Albuquerque zoo if you are a visitor from out of town and have never seen what it has to offer. The collections of diverse animal species is incredible, and the diversity is world-wide. The Australian exhibit has koala bears, they have a really good polar bear tank exhibit, all kinds of African wildlife, etc. For the price and what you will see, this is definitely a good value

The zoo here used to be well kept and really nice. After our visit yesterday it just seemed run down. A lot of the areas were closed with no signs of reopening. Overall, it just felt and looked "tired". It's really a shame because they could really turn it around in so many small, easy ways.

This is a great zoo. It is not the largest zoo but the habitats are beautiful and we'll kept. The animals all look healthy and happy. It's an easy walk and there is a large grassy area for picnics and kids to play. They also have educational shows for the kids.

Great zoo. Great variety of animals. My only complaint would be the lack of interaction with the animal's and the lack of water stations throughout. I understand this a zoo and most animals are hands off but i do know certain times of the years they do have interactions and not during others. Overall definitely worth a visit.

I've been to a lot of zoos, and this is one of the best. Zoo is fairly large, but under a lot of construction to make improvements. Because of this, some exhibits were closed.
My family and I rode the train over to the aquarium and botanical garden as well. Aquarium was small but nice. They are adding to it, as well. Garden was amazing.

If you want to do everything without being rushed, get there as early as possible. We got there at 10:30 am and still didn't have enough time to spend in the garden.

Love this place and it has always been a favorite in town for something to do. The animals and the keepers are amazing. The facility could use some love but I feel that is lack of funding from the city. Best place to take kids and out of town family. Great thing to do on a free day. It takes about 3 hours to walk through the entire place and a full day if you want to spend some time at the exhibits.
