I went to A1 Locksmith to get a new key fob for my vehicle, as my old fob was broken. The technician there did a good job in recommending me a cheaper fob. Instead of charging me the 100 plus dollars for a completely new fob, he did a quick repair on my old fob for around 20 to 30 dollars. This is an ethical business and I would definitely recommend coming here again.

Called A1 for a quote to get an oem key programmed for 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer and whoever answered the phone had a bad attitude with me and clearly did not want my business. I will gladly go somewhere else.

We purchased a used safe from A-1, they happened to have the perfect size for what I was wanting and absolutely met the need. I dealt with Cameron and James, outstanding customer service and their delivery guys were phenomenal! Since the safe had some pre-configured setup that wasn't going to work for me, I rebuilt the interior and staged my shelves exactly how I wanted them.

I HIGHLY recommend these guys, they know what they're doing and won't let you down!

I learned the hard way how prevalent "bait and switch" pricing is in the locksmith industry. A friend recommended A-1 Locksmith and I noticed they've been in business since 1949. They promised to guarantee pricing and I was pleased to see that my final price was actually the price quoted on the phone. They were professional and I am always happy to recommend a company who puts customers first and stands by their word.

had to go back a second time to get keys recut that didn't work. They still didn't work and I was charged for them again. I'm an extremely busy person and was told by an impatient gentleman over the phone that I could come down at my convenience and have them cut again.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Awful!!! I want for 4 hours! And ended up with no service! 6-8 window turned into 25 more minutes turned into an hour then turned into me saying f*** this. I will take my business somewhere else. Terrible service!!!!!!!!!!

This company is just so bad at everything it's funny.

Just run by a guy who hasn't a clue running this company who spends his inlaws money on consultants, advertising, and legal bills with nothing to show for itthat's funny

Subcontractors deliver your safe and like their employees they aren't drug tested or background checked. They will fire employees for major issues but since they can't hire new talent they rehire the same employees ..This whole marketing blitz is to make up for bad decisions made in the past but apparently they continue to be made.

It's just fun to sit back and watch these clowns put on a clinic of how not to run a business.

Heard about this place on KTCK 1310 The Ticket. My car is a 2010 Mazda 3 and my only key I have broke. Called the dealership first and got a quote, then called A1 and they beat the price by nearly $80. I called on a Saturday and they confirmed they had a replacement key and gave me the quote over the phone. I couldn't get there that weekend so showed up on Monday. They did the job in about 15 mins and I was on my way. Even remembered our phone call and kept the exact same price agreed upon. Would definitely use these guys again.

I made an appointment from 1-3 pm and they did not show up. Sometimes jobs could be delayed, so I understand if there is a delay. But in that case, they should've called me as a courtesy to let me know about the delay. Instead, nobody give me the update unless I called them. When I first called them, they said that technician will still be here before 3. And I called them again at 3 because nobody showed up, they didn't even apologize and one of their manager's attitude was terrible when I made a complaint. He said someone will be there in 25-30 minutes and sounds like why this is big deal. I am a lawyer and it is a big deal for me waste my valuable time. Horrible company!!!

At least if you showed up at 3pm, I wouldn't leave negative review.
I called and was told that you will be arrived after 3:30pm. So I cancelled the service and left at 3pm. That is why you can't see the job invoice on your system because I couldn't get your service. I understand that the job could be delayed. The real issue here is that you guys didn't let me know in advance for delay. If you can't meet the job window, you should have called customer to let us know. Also, I called and asked for explanation, the manager there was very rude and had horrible attitude instead of apologize. That is why I upset, not just for your lateness.

They make keys and they make them right. I had a key that I didn't think COULD be copied and without hesitation they made a copy of it without even using the original key which was warn out and didn't work that great. They had good pricing too.

Technican 248-Don just left here and was amazing. He was so pleasant even though he had to wait on me for a few minutes. We lost our only key to our Lexus and A-1 was able to get us back on the road for several hundred dollars less than what I was quoted by the "stealership." Will be ordering an extra key from them shortly. Fantastic to work with, thanks very much A-1 Locksmith!

After going to Home Depot, Lowe's and calling Hinsco Safe & Lock in Plano and getting nowhere with rekeying my storm door lock I went into A-1. Not only were they nice and knowledgeable they were also very quick!

Next time they will be my first choice with anything of this nature I might need help with!

Got my ignition key problem fixed. The ignition key had been on and off, not starting the engine up until various tries.

A-1 has helped me with cutting copies of keys before, and now they helped with this larger issue and rebuilt the mechanism in very professional manner.

I appreciated the way they got me an appointment time (I waited a few days for them to be freed up), then promptly got it done, calling me back when it was done! No unnecessary waiting!

They checked that the key worked, and the car purred on the first time I turned the ignition key on! Good to go!
