It was our third visit to the 9-11 Memorial, and Michael Cohen presented information about the tragic day in 2001 that we hadn't heard before. He has a compassion and a gift for conveying the shock and grief of the city and the nation. We highly recommend this tour to all who want to learn the events of 9-11-2001.

This tour was great. On time and very clearly understood,. Tour guid moved our group through the crowds of people with ease. Highly recommend it and would take it again when in NYC..This is a don't miss.

Damaras was phenomenal. I was in middle school when the events happened and she gave me a great understanding of everything that occurred. She was very knowledgeable and it was amazing to see hear about her personal experience.

I was part of a group from Oregon that took the 9/11 Ground Zero Tour with Tauren. Although we all remembered the horror we felt as the morning unfolded..at 6ish we heard a small plane had hit the Tower..something similar had happened in Florida..at the end of my walk I quickly went to the television to get an update to see a second plane and the towers fallingwhere would it stop..
Now we had a first person experience before us. She had worked in the Tower; she was in the city when it happened; she had friends in the tower that day, and family visiting. These experiences had changed her life and she gave us a much larger picture of the day and the days that followed. It was truly a gift to us.

The 9-11 tour was an extremely memorable experience. Tauren was a wonderful guide, answering all our questions and sharing her actual experiences living through the horrors of the 9-11 attack. I would sign on to her tour again.
I wish our tickets for Freedom Tower had allowed us more than 2 hours in the museum. But overall, Ground Zero Tours did a fantastic jobresponse / report this review -

We attended the 9/11 tour with Robert Maass and found him to be informative, engaging and extremely sensitive to the events being commemorated. Overall he was an outstanding tour guide and it was lovely to meet a genuine NewYorker. Not to be missed.

Ibeth was our guide and did a wonderful job of telling us details about 9/11. If there was a downside to the tour, it was that it was a lot to see and absorb in a 90 minute walk. Lots of information and such an emotional place to see and be.

On Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, My husband and I spent the weekend in New York City for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We had a great time. I booked a tour for Ground Zero. We arrived a St. Paul's Chapel and was greeted by our Tour Guide, Ray Victor. I have to say it was the best thing we did. Ray gave a great tour and was very informative. He explained all the happened on that terrible day in depth. I can't say enough about Ray, he was incredible ,such a warm and personable guy, I would recommend him to anyone who wanted to take a tour. Thank you, Ray

The insight that Ray gave us of that day will always be with us. He explained everything in great detail about how all new yorkers came together to help each other and move forward. He has such s unique perspective of what happened. It's diffently something to share and talk to family and friends about letting them all know that this is by far one of the best tours to take when coming to New York.

I would highly recommend taking a tour of Ground Zero. Our experience was excellent from the booking of the tour to the taking of the tour. Our guide, Ray, was knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the people and place of New York City. Having a native New Yorker give the tour and hearing his story of 9/11 were powerful experiences.

This was one of our highlights of our trip to NY. Ray was a fantastic tour guide and was so informative about the events of the day. It brought a tear to my eye on numerous occasions. The personal story mixed in with the facts and events of the day is something I will never forget and is already one of the first things I talk about when talking about the holiday.

Our guide, Linda Shell, was awesome! Her enthusiasm and passion for her work was very special. She was able to convey vividly the emotion of the day. She pointed out nuances and little known tidbits that added an extra layer of understanding. On top of that, she even got on her back to take some really cool pictures of us!
