I stayed recently at this site and found the accommodation superbly furnished & everything you need kitchen wise too. The site overlooks Lake Seneca. And you are a two hour drive to NIAGRA FALLS and near the City of Rochester. The owners Robert & Jane an English couple give you the warmest welcome & area wealth of information of the local area. Make sure you put this at the top of your list when planning your vacation. In that area.

Owner extremely rude and inappropriate towards guests

I stayed in the Cayuga Cabin for a wedding and had a terrible experience. Upon entering the home, you could smell urine coming from an old crib in the downstairs bedroom. Later, we noticed that the toilet was not flushing properly and called the property owner, Robert Lawty to check on it. He came over and angrily told us that the toilet was fine and we were not intelligent enough to figure out how to use it. On his way out, he called me a "stupid bimbo". My husband pulled him aside later and respectfully asked him if he had said that (he was hoping he would apologize as I was nearly in tears) and the owner tried to start a physical altercation.

I was not the only person in our group to have a negative experience with this gentleman. There were approximately 100 people staying on site for the wedding weekend and he made rude comments to several of them. For example, when one of the bride's family members stated that they were low on toilet paper he replied "well, this isn't a f*@king hotel". The owner also made lewd comments towards one of the bridesmaids and ignored the fact that his dog urinated on one of the tables in the reception tent (the two dogs roamed freely). I will NEVER stay at this poorly run "resort" again.
