Wonderfully complex kofte served by an outstanding German bartender in the bar lounge. Samosa were also excellent, as were service and presentation. 21Spices has earned their stars.
High-end Indian food. Great flavors and service. Alex took care of us and she did an excellent job. The decor and ambiance are fantastic and warm.
I drove with my family for 90 min to get there as we heard good things about it from a friend of ours, upon arrival first impression was good , I would admit that by far this is the best decorated / maintained and cleanest Indian restaurant I have visited , definitely compare to any high end American restaurant, but food on the other hand is “ NOT AUTHENTIC “ it’s American food with Indian touch to it and presentation is 100% American, Food is over priced a Plain “ NAN “ ( Fresh Baked Flat Bread ) is $5, the only reason I am giving 3 Star because of the lamb chops again over priced but delicious rest of the food was average, I am good fanatic and when travel to different parts of the world Food is my top priority and sightseeing comes 2nd on the to do list
Amazing experience! It was my first time trying Indian food and I tried the Chicken 65 & Chicken Masala. More than enough food, with DELICIOUS flavor! Zoran (the server) provided great service and his assistants gave us perfectly timed refills, table clearing and a very nice welcome! We WILL be returning to 21 Spices.
We had a big party of about 15-20. It was for my friends birthday. I think everyone had separate checks. The wait staff was amazing. They were incredibly attentive. To my knowledge everyone got their right food and order. The birthday girl brought a cake. Staff refrigerated it and then later cut and served it for everyone. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had.
21 Spices Indian Restaurant in Naples offers an excellent choice of menu items expertly prepared by Chef Asif.
Start with Lobster Mulligatawny soup. You can request the degree of spice you want. follow with traditional dishes like chicken Tika Masala or a very good seafood offer like Kohinoor of the Ocean.
The wine list is extensive and moderately priced. Chateau Ste Michele for $33 for example.
The service is prompt and friendly. 21 Spices is a world class restaurant in Naples and a great example of fine dining Indian cuisine.
We have eaten at this upscale Indian restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. Be sure to try the fried spinach appetizerit is served with an interesting drizzle that I have not had before. I particularly like the lamb chops. The decor is chic.
We visited over the Thanksgiving weekend. The restaurant was freezing cold. We ordered the special which was a coconut filled with mixed seafood in a coconut, curry cream sauce with asparagus on the side. For $42 there was very little of it and it was extremely rich. We both felt ill afterwards. We also tried the kofta vegetarian balls which were very floury in texture and the sauce was the same as the special dish. Our son had the lentils which seemed good. We were disappointed after hearing such great things about the restaurant. I am not sure we will go back.
I love Indian food! And I am very particular when it comes to Indian food. Having said that, this place was delicious! The food was perfectly spiced. I ordered mild to share and got extra spice sauce, which was amazing, to add to my food. The place is beautifully decorated and a great place for a date night for sure. We went with family and it was great. It is pricey, but based on the decor and ambiance, I can see why. One thing I must say, most Indian food is usually swimming in oil, the food was not that way at all. Naan’s were pricey, but entrees come with rice. Desserts and cocktails were original and great.
Been here countless times and the food never disappoints and gets better each time. This is truly the best Indian restaurant i have ever been to, period. I commend Chef Asif and his remarkable team for taking Naples dining to the next level. You have a customer for life.
Fantastic Indian food! Venue was spotless, unique, and a little higher end than your average Indian Restaurant. Food was impeccable, and I highly recommend a 3 or 4 course meal. Ask the waitstaff for recommendations.
All I tasted was excellent. I will be back for sure. Do not hesitate to try it. If you like Indian food, you will love 21 Spices!! ( all 21).
Great food! We've been wanting to go here for a while now, and it didn't disappoint. I'm Lactose intolerant and forgot to tell the waitress and found out later that there was cream in my food. Instead of returning it I decided to eat it. I have to say the after-effects were worth it. I wish I could order it again, however when I return I'll be trying one of their Lactose free options.
Also I couldn't get over how beautifully decorated it is. A+ on that.
The Indian food here is exceptional. The wait staff was very attentive and professional and the ambiance is lovely. Loved the experience! Going back this weekend as I need another dose of the curry and shrimp! SOOO good - so fresh and everything has an amazing flavour.
Absolutely excellent. The wait staff was more than excellent, the food was more than worth the price. I ordered the goat, and my fiancé ordered the lamb. And since we were having essentially a joint birthday dinner, they surprised us with two, wonderful slices of chocolate cake with "Happy Birthday" and added our names on the plate. I would recommend this to everyone for any occasion.
The food was great but the service needs some improvement, the Nam come as a desert ??. The choice of Rice or Nam's has been abducted as per the server many years ago (last December 2016)
We have eaten Indian food for the last 51 years in the best places in London, Toronto, Vancouver and we have been to India 4 times for a total of 4 months and stayed in the best hotels like the Lake Palace, Taj in Chennai and Delhi. Toured Rajasthan, Agra , Varanasi, Calcutta , Mumbai , Madurai etc. This is the best food and the best decor that we have seen anywhere. Educated Indians do not pride themselves on eating super hot food all the time. The food here has been cooked slowly as it should be, so that the spices soak into the meat and the meat is almost falling off the bone. Very hot is available if asked for . But my attitude was savor haute cuisine that the Rajahs enjoy. not cheap, but worth every bit. We will be going back a lot.
Dined with my daughter who spent a few years in London where Indian cuisine reigns supreme. Decor was very nice. Service by our Indian waitress was excellent. She recommended various dishes. We ordered three dishes. After dining my daughter compared it favorably to the London Indian restaurant hot spots. Cost for dinner was acceptable. Not cheap nor expensive. Would revisit. Everything about 21 Spices was very favorable.
We waited over an hour for our dinner and it never arrived, we left. Given 21 Spices by Chef Asif's lack of service, rather pricey menu and inconvenient location, I would not recommend 21 Spices, there are many better choices in Naples.
Food was generally good but varied by dish. We waited for over an hour after our order and still had not been served despite tables that were sat after us being served. The server said it wasn't her problem and blamed it on the kitchen. Fifteen minutes later and we still didn't have food. Finally we spoke with the manager (who was mildly apologetic) and our food finally arrived (about 90 minutes after we ordered and 2 hours after we sat down). Although our entrees arrived, our naan did not. Despite speaking with the server three times over the next 15 minutes, our naan still had not arrived. We again voiced our displeasure to the manager. To his credit, he comped the entire meal (as he should have). On a bright note, my drink (Asif special) was fantastic and the grouper dish was very good. I would not make a return trip from Fort Myers however.
