Not impressed! For $10 you get 6 tastings, "food pairings - 2 pieces of cheese and 4 almonds". For each wine tasting you get about a tablespoon of wine - not enough to even get a good tasting to see if you like it!

If I could give this place a 0 star rating then I would, the atmosphere was very douchey, it was the only winery we actually had to wait at (for a group of only 5 people), the wines were nothing special, I could have purchased better quality wine at the Walmart down the street from my house. The price of the tasting was higher than any other winery we went to and oh if u want to keep the glass it'll be another $5. If 2 lads wants to stay in business, then I suggest they charge around the same price as other wineries for tastings and also retrain your staff. Our waiter was a complete douche, he thought he was soooo cool and rambled off a bunch of BS about the wine in a condescending way and actually made rude jokes about the chocolate to my friend and I, he treated us like we were stupid. So if any of you get a waiter that looks like an overweight Ed Sheeran then stay away, you won't be happy with your service. I'll never return there again.

I won't even go into tastes since that is totally subjective. Needless to say I found a wine to take home. We drove up the peninsula and stopped here, upbeat, hipsters kind of vibe. no wine snobs here.
Guy was especially helpful and friendly in his recommendations. He didn't push any particular wine but listened as we talked and made his suggestions based upon those.
Modern setting compared to other wineries we stopped at. Would recommend stopping here for the different atmosphere, great selection of wines and knowledgeable staff.
Pricing was good and tasting is free if you purchase a bottle.duh!response / report this review -

Far and away the most interesting tasting room on Old Mission, and the entire northern Michigan area for that matter. A modern marvel. Outside of a number of wines at Mari, their Cab Franc Reserve is the only enjoyable red I've found on the peninsula. Their sparkling wines are especially interesting, as well.
I've been a member of their wine club for 4 years and their deliveries are always filled with surprises, plus they allow you to customize each shipment, which is a huge plus.response / report this review -

When we arrived, we were told it would be a at least a 15 minute wait. I been to many wineries and have never experienced anything like this before. It was before 3 :00 PM and they were also out of one of their two reds. As well, not sure why drinking your wine outside was not permitted?>

They were exceptionally rude to myself and my girlfriend. We're in our late 20's and look young, they treated us like we were a***holes for being there.
