Unfortunately, I have had several negative experiences with this service department. I wonder if those guys work on commission? A year ago, one of the staff told me I needed $1200 in repairs when I went in for a routine recall. One of those repairs included "the headlights are seated wrong". UmmI'm not the one who built the car. Currently, our Outback has been burning too much oil and it turns out it is one of the ones impacted by the class action lawsuit that was settled last year. Bottom line is they need to replace the short block assembly, as per the lawsuit. I was there 3 times in the past year, and now they want me to go back for another oil consumption test. Staff person "Matt" was offensive, rude and condescending. Very poor experience.

I bought my 2017 STI from them. The sales department was great. I have taken my STI back for service no problems. I took my RAM 1500 for a full synthetic oil change. They ended up charging me 140$ for the oil change. Said the oil was a special kind they didn't have so it cost 120$ for 7 quarts. They used Valvoline Full Synthetic Advanced 5W-20 Motor Oil. It sells for 21.75$ for 5 quarts. I also called after and they quoted my 80$ for the change. They over charge / steal from their customers.

Jerry Smithbauer went above and beyond for me after I totaled my car. He helped guide me through the whole process and quickly got me and my kids in a new, safe vehicle. His communication, service and efficiency are top notch. I would never think of buying a car from anyone but him!

I recently purchased a Subaru Crosstrek from #1 Cochran in Butler. Jesse was my salesperson and did an awesome job!! He helped me get the car I wanted, and worked me with my on my trade in too! Very easy to work with, not pushy, and actually concerned with my satisfaction throughout the process. He was always available for my questions too. I highly recommend working with Jesse if you go here to purchase a vehicle. He even made things right when the car starter from my trade in couldn't be moved into my new Subaru. Thank you Jesse!!

I went with my daughter to buy a crosstec from this dealership and in my 60 plus years of buying cars this is the first time I ever felt like I needed a shower to get the scum off.The salesman did his job but when you get to finance the slim begins they try to sell you everything under the sun and once they have you reeling they flip your financeing on you. my daughter went in preapproved thru her credit union and they claimed they would match as they don't deal with this credit union but we learned later in all the turmoil over upsales they charged use 1% more than the deal with the credit union . so buyer beware or better yet stay AWAY!!!!

Sales staff (Jimmy Mullen) was great. He didn't pressure me at all. He gave me a deal very close to what i wanted to pay. The lasr subaru i bought was from a different dealer and i did not like their shady finance ppl. I had called a subaru dealer near Pittsburgh and when i asked the best price i could get all he did was add tax to the price on the net How is that a deal?! I hate the entire process of buying a new car but the staff at cochran butler made it quick and as pleasant as can be. I will gladly go back there again.

Top notch experience from start to finish. Jesse my salesman was awesome and got me a hell of a deal on my WRX. I live around an hour away and can easily say that it was worth the drive to have my oil change / service done there as well. John the service manager is great to work with. The garage where the service is done is very clean and well laid out. I have and will continue to recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

The entire team was very helpful. I reviewed items I was looking for with Kevin online, prior to even seeing the crosstrek in person. I went in knowing what I was looking for and not one employee tried to sell me otherwise. They respected what I was looking for and helped guide me with other options I didn't notice during research. Sometimes this is a great aspect and in my case I greatly appreciated it. Jimmy was very personable and even with being newer to Subaru, he answered all my questions I had. Subaru is a great company and I'm looking forward to seeing the new building for #1 Cochran's Bulter location in the future.

I recently had my car in for a state inspection (free as I purchased my vehicle from Cochran!). The service department knew me by name, was prompt, professional, courteous and very helpful. As Cochran is dog-friendly I had my Sheltie, Lucy, with me and they made her feel welcome as well:) In the waiting area the sales personnel took the time to greet us and make sure we had all we needed to be comfortable until our car was done. As it happened, it was 'dog month' at Cochran Subaru and we left with my car taken care of and Lucy with a car of her own--a stuffed red dog toy. I think Lucy is enjoying her new Subaru as much as I am enjoying mine!

Glad we bought a Subaru from # 1Cochran Subaru of Butler County. We looked for a few months for the best car deal from several dealers. Tim, our salesman, did not pressure us and true to his word within a week or so we worked out a deal that was good for all.
Recently had my first experience with the service center (first oil change and tire rotation) and you won't find a better bunch of workers that are there to please you.
Friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staff throughout the organization makes me think we chose well by purchasing our 2017 Subaru Forester from #1 Cochran Subaru of Butler County.
