Brian Downs is an awesome guy. Not just did he take care of my vehicle, he also made sure the me and my son were taken care of. Out of his own kindness he bought my son snacks out of his own pocket. He defanitly went above and beyond his job. I am proud to support this dealership. I will always come here for all my service needs and to purchase my vehicles from Dale Taylor and Louis Douglas. You guys have a really good team.
After spending too much money to get my headlight replaced they tried to sell me tires I did not need. Scheduling an appointment is painful. When I call to schedule an appointment I am either put on hold for 5 to 10 minutes, or told to leave a voicemail and my call is never returned. I tried to schedule an appointment "on-line" but that truly involves sending them an e-mail requesting an appointment. Weeks later I am still waiting to get a reply e-mail. One time it became such a hassle to schedule an appointment that I called my salesperson to intervene and I finally got an appointment scheduled. Rohrich is much better to deal with.
I waited hours for my car and I simply just had a oil change, I also asked if my touch screen could be looked at, the service advisor never discussed with me that my car was even ready nor did he address the results of the touchscreen however on the service papers it said I declined everything that was never addressed to me, very unprofessional, I called the next day to make an appointment and he told the appointment maker oh she can't afford it, it's not covered. Who the hell is he???
My vehicle had a serious issue with Transmission/Shaft/Transaxle. The estimate was nearly $5000 and my advisor promised to help out with any discounts he could find and a few other items I needed him to address. I was provided an awesome loaner vehicle (2017 Cadillac XT5) and the work was completed when they said it would be. All of the work was completed (including extra work) and it came very close to the original estimate (without extra work quoted) and the car has been great since. I figured fixing the car was better than having to purchase a newer vehicle because I knew the car was otherwise perfect for me and it was in very nice condition. Bottom line is this dealership treated me as though I just bought the car new from them. I will absolutely take my car back to them in the future.
Best service I ever received at a car dealer, express oil change etc. with Mark, and Lee is very helpful in handling any request for the vehicle which he did, and had the request fixed. Excellent!!!!!!!
Great job!
I have always had great service at this location. Would've given five star but it's very hard to get in contact with the service dept. from the phone number off the website.
I've been purchasing my vehicles here at #1 Cochran all of my driving life. I have absolutely no complaints about this dealership. Everyone I have dealt with has been wonderful. They definitely go that extra mile to accommodate you in every aspect from purchase to maintaining your vehicle to repairs. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
Everyone at #1 Cochran is always very accommodating. My only complaint is that I must go directly to Cadillac for service instead of bringing it directly. I prefer the lounge are in the GMC area. I understand this is a result of Cadillac and not the dealership. However during this visit the staff accommodated me.
Absolute Number One at Buffoonery
My GM Vehicle required another RECALL, I setup a scheduled recall repair I.A.W. the recall notice letter from GM. This dealership said YES, bring in your vehicle and we'll fix it. Two hours later I received a call from dealership service dept., telling me they have no parts and the parts required are special order. I believe GM and its dealerships use this tactic to discourage, deceive and delay customers from doing the recall repairs that are needed. I plan on filing a formal complaint with my State Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Protection, although I know GM contributed money to her election campaign!!!
UPDATE --- 5-23-2017 ---
"This was my SECOND time returning to have the same RECALL repair performed. FIRST appointment was an 'assessment', vehicle kept for hours, 'just to be sure' ?
SECOND appointment (two years later), parts finally available and repair hopefully done.
For the life of me, it's hard to understand why anyone would do business with Cochran automotive group. I've been working in Monroeville for over twenty years."
I was very happy with my experience at cochran of monroeville, I leased a 2017 buick regal. I love it. My salesperson Lou was very helpful and patient to my needs. This is my second time leasing from Lou. The only thing that I have not recieved yet is my gift card for test driving a vehicle. Lou said I would recieve an email in 10 days but I got nothing yet. I have had my vehicle for 1 month now. Other than that I love my vehicle and I will be back to lease again in 3 years.
Thank you
NEVER BUY A CAR OR USE SERVICE AT THIS DEALERSHIP.
The worst experience I've ever had. I bought a used cadillac in February. It had a scratched driver door and cracked rear window. It was in service from March 6 to May 12th WAITING FOR "PARTS". 9 weeks. The repairs were never completed as per the sales agreement. The service manager Travis and Brian Bates were nasty and rude. I wanted to know what was taking so long. There was infighting between sales and service concerning the repairs on the car I bought and hadn"t seen in 9weeks. The Idiots Travis and Brian began bullying me. Never called about my car. Only called to tell me they were calling the police because I stole their loaner! I wait 9 weeks for my vehicle I just bought only to be threatened with the police, to charge me for storing car, never repaired after 9 weeks.!
My 2009 Cadillac STS was taken in for service because of an extremely rough ride, inclusive of jerking and seeming instability in the wheels. The car was serviced and the bill totaled over $4k (not an insubstantial amount). The repairs were extensive and, as may be imagined, the car rode well for a couple of days. Within six days the car was performing in the same unacceptable way, sometimes with even more negative vibrations and noises. The car was returned for service. A day later I was told additional repairs would be $1.7k. I was not pleased particularly when told that the return of the problems were a coincidence; same noise, same symptoms but difference causes. I appreciate my final bill was eventually discounted $500, but I feel strongly the initial problem was not diagnosed correctly. I am a long term fan of Cochran and don't view them as dishonest; my limited knowledge of car functionality leads me to believe that the original problem was not diagnosed correctly. I feel that I was treated like unwanted anal leakage when my cars' problems were credited to coincidence. I recognize that service advisors have a scripted response to unhappy customers, but don't attribute the continuance of a problem to coincidence. It's insulting! With all of this being said, I will continue to have my Cadillac serviced at Cochran, with great hope I will never have repeat problems attributed to coincidence.
Service was fast, definitely a plus. The sales staff was great. This is my first Cadillac and the first time I had to take my car for service. I heard many wonderful things but honestly I was not really impressed with the fact that nothing was said to me about my car when the keys were returned. I was handed my slip and out the door. Every service garage I have been too in the last several years went over specific details about my car at every oil change check-up. I just thought there could have been a little more effort put into my appointment. I was also frustrated when calling trying to figure out approximately when my oil change would be due.
