Hammerhead Sharks are found worldwide in tropical and temperate waters, where they are seen near shorelines and reefs as well as in open ocean far offshore. They have a lifespan in the wild of about 20-30 years and can grow up to 20 feet (6 meters) in length. That’s big! These monsters could weigh in at as much as 1,000 pounds (450 kg).

The aquarium is nice , but the pictures, the worker there took ,was not good at all , she dosn't tell you to correct your posture , she takes the picture anyway , and then if you want these pictures you have to pay , they don't tell you that at first , other than that the trip was good , but the place was a bit far , we took Uber .

Not very crowded. A good place to spend a free day, especially when it`s too hot outside. The animals seem well treated. Here the smiling skate fish from the photo proves it :)

The entry fee (50 Lira for adults) is quite alright. There were many loud children so it would be the best not to go there when it's school time.
The animals are really beautiful and interesting. You can learn a lot there, especially children will love it. One minus point is: It's not that big. I expected a huge Aquarium but it's more like a path you follow while watching the animals.

Lots of sea life, piranhas, lion fish, turtles, grey reef sharks, blacktip sharks, sand tiger sharks and hammerheads. However there is a lot more like stingrays. It is a great place, the best aquarium I have been to so far. However there is only one hammerhead shark in the whole aquarium. There are about two or three Sand Tiger Sharks, a few grey reef sharks and mainly black tip reef sharks. Lots to see and the best time to go is in the morning where there are few people because it is filled up in the afternoon. Overall, it is awesome and is a great place to go in Forum Istanbul mall. The tunnel is the best part with so many creatures swimming up and down and all the way around. It has the largest collection of sharks in Europe and I definitely recommend it.

The place is not very crowded and relaxing to walk in. The shark room and the tunnel is an awesome experience. The picture they take as "gift" is a money scam, you will only get the digital version if you buy a frame at the end.

That was my third aquarium to visit, and it was very good, not expensive and near to the city center.

Great experience. Our ticket had 50%off and it was worth it. It's the 5th biggest aquarium of the world. They have white sharks too and a big tunnel.

Totally amazing experience. Me and my wife payed 96TL for this, but in my opinion we got more than we paid. I thought that the akvarum will be small but I wasn't right, the akvarum is so so huge, and you will be shocked by the number of kinds you will see!

I loved this place. It was my first aquarium in which I was. However, the aquariums, in which I was after this, cannot equal to this one. This was really nicely done. Really liked it. I was there 5 years ago.
