It is worth every penny. It was my first Turkish Hamam even if I am a regular spa goer. The lady that took care of me was just wonderful. Even if the massage is rather in a local way (strong and not soft), it does some good to your body and posture. Products they use are of good quality. Overall, it was more than just a hamam, but a cultural experience. When you stay in the hamam or in massage room, you can contemplate authentic and sobre décor. Beautiful unforgettable experience.

Contrary to popular trends , this place is a great escape from the cold in winter. I visited the aya Sofia in December 2017. I was the only visitor there at the time. My designated assistant said that it’s far busier in the summer. Remember no shoes allowed in the hammami ! Booking is required in advance, a simple phone call the day before was sufficient. Payment on arrival - before treatment. Prices are in euros and Lira. Thereafter you will be shown to a tip top locker and change room after which you will be accompanied to the treatment area. Although they say no clothes for ladies - bikinis are welcome. After the treatment you are allowed to revisit the hamaam area for as long as you want and the warm marble tops are definitely worth revisiting. I also had a massage here . They serve Turkish tea and Turkish delight so don’t rush to get out of there!

Ayasofya is great museum in Istanbul, from the date of its construction in 537 AD and until 1453it served as an Eastern Orthodox Cathedral and seat of the Patriarch of Constantinople, except between 1204 and 1261 , when it was converted by Fourth Crusaders to a Roman Catholic Cathedral under the Latin Empire.
The building was later converted into an Ottoman mosque from 1453 until 1931.
It was then secularized and opened as a museum on 1935.
Famous in particular for its massive Dome, it is considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture and is said to have changed the history of architecture.
It remained the world’s largest cathedral for nearly thousand of years until Seville Cathedral was completed in 1520..
Lots of history can be written about this amazing place, but at all it is unforgettable place ever you can see.

This place is really unique and amazing! The staff are polite, helpful and very smiling. It was the first time I did a steam bath. I chose the 110-minute pack and enjoyed every minute! It is worth living this experience 100%

A high class Turkish bath. Very clean and quite. Excellent services. Turkish massage may be a little hard for those who are not familiar with it. Ask for gentle start.

This was my first experience in a Hamam and it was breathtaking. It was an incredible mix of sensations - warm water, sweat, rough scrubbing, gentle bubbles, deep massage. The contrasts were stunning - rough, gentle; hot, cold; dripping wet, drying with soft air and thick towels; embarrassment of having another naked man scrubbing you and relaxation knowing that we all have the same bodies and it is how we came into this world. In short, I can't recommend this enough.

Had taken the 45 minute spa but was brought out earlier. It was over in 35 mins. Need to keep an eye on the clock and ensure you get your money's worth. After all it is one of the most expensive hamam in the city. Could be the most awesome experience if they take care of these things. Every customer should come out happy.

Went here early at 8.30 and was the only guest. This review is for the male part. Because I went early on Saturday I had the entire Hamam for me!

I was being treated by Ibrahim, you absolutely have to ask for him specifically! This would have been a 4 Stars review, but Ibrahim went above and beyond to make my stay there extra comfy!

You start with cleaning yourself, don't be afraid to make a mess. Ibrahim will explain everything and in between treatments you are served tea and Turkish delight. This is just amazing and you must visit this place! I will now book a flight next month.

Beautiful place with unique ambience. Possibility for couples to enjoy the treatment at same time in separate buildings. The treatment we had seemed for both of us too in a rush. Could have enjoyed it better if it was performed with more relaxed pace.

Ladies: A-mmmmmaaazing! wow, i never experienced a Turkish bath serviced by a turkish woman, it has always been in high end hotel turkish bath (kese) with a Balinese or a South Asian lady. Todays' experience with Serpil was something else, she made me feel like a queen, her attention to details and attentiveness made feel real good. On top of it she had this amazing genuine smile and she was gorgeous as if her whole life depended on this service (talking about costumer satisfaction). The Hammam location is unique right between Haja Sofia beautiful minaret. The most important thing was the cleanness, the place was spotless, all marble interior and well maintained. I was impressed with their attention to details as far as little amenities. Ladies you won't need a thing going there, just bring your lovely self: examples: shampoo, conditioner, little kit, 2 tiny thongs (one for hammam and one after for massage), new slippers, all kind of robes, towels, etc. hair dryers.
Nice little Ottoman style changing rooms. Once you get out and while awaiting your message, you will have fruit (part of the full service (kese, mud body treatment, soap, hair washing, light massage, fruit break, then one hour oil massage with face collegen mask, cost 140 Euros) and drinks waiting for you on a little Pacha style corner.
**For those of you like myself who love steam before treatment, this is not the place, it is more for a day of pampering yourself kind of day.
Massage was ok (not hyper professional technique) but I was okay with that because I was mainly for the hammam experience.
**I am a world traveler and a spa junkie, including massages, from herbal all the way to gold, Istanbul is a heaven for spa treatments in high end hotels. I love this city.
