I loved it, saw a lot of the sea life that I wouldn't have seen otherwise, Enjoyed the sharks, penguins and tropical animals.
The gift shop was nice, a little expensive for my taste.
The 7d ride was very underwhelming, It was a tour of Istanbul but it lacked the wow factor, I could have watched a video and saved 60T.L.
But at the end of the day, I LOVED IT and I would go back after a while to take new photos and see what else is new.response / report this review -

2 big shark and a lot of species of fishes are gathered in this aquarium. you can see different themes for the different type of species. the place is very close to Ataturk airport and very low traffic. this place is very fun and interesting and you can enjoy there at least for 2 hours. the most interesting parts for me was those small frogs and penguins. the design of some parts and type of glasses are amazing.

A very enormous and modern aquarium with a variety of aquatic species and different conditions from polar to tropical.
Salty water fish
Sweet water fish
Penguins
Reptiles
Simulate different areas such as poles, Amazon forest, cold and tropical regions.
Includes a large shopping mall and Kurt Foods with a variety of delicious fast food, seafood and local cuisine

This place has 4 advantages:
1. Very close to the airport. In no traffic, one need less than 10 min to get there.
2. It is part of a huge project that includes a shopping center and numerous number of cafes and restaurants all with a sea view
3. The aquarium itself is one of the best in the world and needs a full day if you and your family are lovers of sea life

Its a good place for kids and adults as well. Especially, the part of glass tunnel. Spare about 4-5hrs for this place. Problem is that all descriptions are in Turkish, but still you can make out about 60% of the info from the interactive information screens placed at all points. Spend at least 15min at all places where there are stairs made to sit and enjoy the scene. Some of the animals are really small. Take pics without flash. Its better to take along water or light edibles along, otherwise at the end you will really tired.

I absolutely loved this aquarium its educational not only to the kids but even for adults, also when we were taking to see the fish tanks and other activities we were really amused by the number of sea life that the aquarium has. I went twice and would still go again.

Near airport, and shopping. Nearby the sea. It's good to spend time with children, family. We enjoyed. But no show.

It's very interesting and beautiful place to visit if you haven't visited any other aquariums yet. The crew speaks barely english so make sure you have checked the feeding time on the webpage.
The big tank is the most beautiful place in this aquarium. I could sit there for hours and enjoy the relaxing view.response / report this review -

Amazing experience, lots of fish types. What I very like is the atmosphere that is made there, one feels like in a real aquarium. There is a lot to learn from history as well. Highly recommend

Awesome set up wide variety of species different sections adds different experiences reasonably priced (including souvenir shop) Highley recommended., audio guide available. Shopping mall accessable with food court, (KFC Burger King Mcdonalds)

Nice place to visit and see different kind of fish it takes around 1 hour or little more and after that you can do shopping in Floria mall and have a coffee or juice on the beach with a lot of coffee shops there be careful with taksi try not to use if you use careful of changing money while leaving

There is a special offer "dive with the sharks". I really recommend this package. They also made great pictures of me and my girlfriend and the sharks ;-)

For kids it is a great place. There are all sizes fishes and you can see them everywhere. But it is not huge.
