Great location and very good service. But a bit pricy for the room size and quality. Me and my spouse stayed in a room with neighborhood view. We we're just over 2 mins walk from the blue mosques and around the corner for Arasta Bazaar and very close to the tram line which is convenient to get around everywhere in Istanbul. 4 stars because the walls are very thin and we could hear conversation from other room. But front desk is very responsive to complaints which is nice. Also, the room was very hot and there was no option to control the heat other than to open your windows during winter time.

Everything was amazing!! Loved this hotel. Old and traditional Ottoman mansion but has a lot of renovations done. Breakfast on the terrace was the best part of everything I could look forward to everyday. The view is so peaceful and serene. Want to come back again. Istanbul is a beautiful city with trams and very walkable. It has elevators for our heavy suitcase so everything was just perfect.

We spent 4 nights in Sultan penhouse. Very spacious room on the 3 floor, with seaview, of course. The location is right behind the Blue mosque.
Ozan is very informative and helpful. He can be a tour guide as he can plan your day so perfectly.
The breakfast is on top floor (4 floor), seaview and accompanied by royal seaguls. Morat is taking care of the rooftop area. He prepares our breakfast, teaches me to make Turkish tea, and recommends places to see.

Great location and great service. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, and the rooms were well appointed and clean. The breakfast was well done, and the view from the rooftop restaurant was a treat as well. I give this place the highest marks for hitting on all points.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel which is located in the centre of Istanbul. Just a stone throw away from landmark monuments of the city, we were looked after amazingly well by the ever helpful and friendly staff. We couldn't reccommend this hotel enough and will be visiting Istanbul again to stay in this picturesque hotel with amazing breakfast!

This is a great hotel based in an ideal location. The rooms are richly decorated and are spacious. The rooftop breakfast makes for a great start to the day. I would highly recommend it to people visiting Istanbul.

We upgraded to the Sultan's Suite - WOW WOW WOW it is so worth it. We looked at other rooms in the hotel, they are also very nice - especially the ones on floor 5 with water views. The very convenient location plus room quality, service and great breakfast all add up to our new found place to stay in Istanbul. We try to visit twice a year from California, we are senior citizens and feel totally safe in Sultanahmet as well as the rest of the city.

My stay at Dersaadet Hotel couldn't be better. From its perfect location, to the friendly staff, amazing breakfast, outstanding room facilities and stunning terrace view, this hotel passed all my possible expectations. There are those places that we always remember, and Dersaadet knows how to make a difference, and I had an unforgettable stay with them in Istanbul.Thank you everyone!

On both our visits to Istanbul we have stayed in this charming hotel. It is a comfortable walking distance to the sights of old Istanbul and the area has a delightful neighbourhood feel. Wonderful views from the terrace.
