I went to an other divan hotel in mersin and u was very happy with that hotel.. this is a little bit older and the staff was a little bit rude but the structure ia amazing! The breakfast was good but the service not so much
We had a good experience except for what concern the reception and the front men , they were not very friendly ! We choose it because we were at Divan Mersin, but Divan Mersin was very much better!!
First I was sent to stay in a smoking room despite the fact I asked for non-smoking room. But after a further request hotel management kindly provided another non-smoking room of higher value for me and my coworker. I do really appreciate their service.
Clean rooms at decent price for Istanbul. 10 min walking distance to the metro and 5 min distance to a nice bar & brewery (Bosphorus Brewing Company).
I liked the place. My two-beaded room was of a nice size, adequately equipped with all kinds of stuff. Batroom was of adequate size with clean shower. Every day, maid was cleaning the whole place. We had clean towels and fresh hygiene suplies every day. We did not gave some view from our room, but still. It is near main road, so some people could find it laud. Breakfast is served and it is classic, nothing special. It has market near (5-10minutes foot walk). It has adequate service/price ratio from my point of view. I would recommend it and I will come back.
A very nice hotel. Worth the money.
A nice lovely hotel to stay in, during your trip in istanbul
All the staff here are friendly and helpful.
Good for their services.
Clean new, modern rooms. Good breakfast. Good staff.
Staff here made me feel like royalty. The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant offers a great selection of meals, the breakfast buffet offers a wide range of fresh produce. I will be back.
Accommodation was great and the whole place is kept clean and tidy. Furnishings are relatively modern. Only downsides are proximity to 2 major roads, loud air conditioning and staff could be friendlier.
Divan Istanbul City is located at the business district of Istanbul
Good rooms. Nice design. Good breakfast. No free Internet, only Turkish TV.
Good service
Nicely designed hotel with excellent food and service
Less bang for the dollars than the old city but over all a nice hotel. Furniture in rooms is a little dated but still in good order. Food is pricey at the hotel but there are plenty of local restaurants in walking distence where you can have a 3 coarse meal and a beer for the same price as a main dish at the hotel. However most local restaurants are not 5 star like hotel but good for the budget. Most staff talk very good English and are very helpful. If you come during winter bring 2 jumpers it gets cold. I should also mention hotel occasionally gives free room upgrades. I was upgraded from deluxe room to junior suite.
