A nice ,cozy hotel a place where you can enjoy every single moment , the only downside was the room size , for couples it would work very well.

Very compact standard rooms. Avoid if you are with family. Standard rooms are good for solo stays. Even the shower cubicle is micro sized.
Hotel facilities of restaurant are good. Staff is very cooperative and helpful.
Breakfast timings are strictly adhered to. So be careful and ensure u take your buffet before the closing time of 1030am.
Very conveniently located close to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace & Hagia Sophia. Bit of a climb but walkable. IST airport is just 45mins driveresponse / report this review -

“Lovely hotel and great location!”
Superb breakfast with honey on the comb! The staff were very friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome. One of the highlights of our time spent in our room or on the terrace was watching the daily displays of the playful dolphins. Fantastic sea and Bosporus views.

Overall great experience at the Citadel Hotel. The staff is amazing, especially the front desk staff. The building itself is nothing special, but it's location is walking distance from all the tourist attractions. Breakfast was ok, again nothing special. The hotel is good for the value and doesn't try to go overboard with anything. It also has great views of the sea.

Everything about this place was awesome. Positive, friendly and upbeat employee's. We booked two rooms here with balcony access & sea view. Tasty fresh breakfast buffet. Extremely clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Close proximity to all major attractions in Sultan Ahmet area. Will definitely choose this place for our future stays.

Stayed for a week. What a wonderful experience. Central location; near all major tourist spots and transportation. Fantastic view of Marmara Sea from the room window. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Great breakfast !! Thanks to Mr Niyazi , Mesut and Gagatay at the Reception Desk and all staff for making our stay a truly memorable one. Will come again !!
