As a family we wanted to celebrate my parents 30th Wedding Anniversary so we decided we would book a holiday to Turkey. After looking around we noticed Armas prestige kept popping up as a 5* hotel in Alanya and that it was an amazing place to stay and it was by the beach so we thought we would book it.
After booking, I emailed the hotel and asked if they could decorate my parents room so as to make it a little special to which they replied and said they’d do it and I shouldn’t worry. When we arrived my parents were escorted to a suite that when they walked into was beautiful. But to their horror, they saw someone else’s stuff lying on the bed and table. The room they entered was someone else’s. What a way to start the holiday. They were then given another room which was average and not decorated as requested.
When I went the next day to the front desk to say this had happened they tried to offer us another room and gave us a key to check it out but it was in fact worse than what my parents had been given. When I returned the key the lady at the reception had a lot of attitude and was very rude about it.
My brothers room was absolutely horrible, he couldn’t even stay in it. It was dark and there were curtains lying on his bed instead of on the window rails. It wasn’t even clean.
My sister and I were given the better room out of everyone and so we let our brother stay in ours as it was a family room.
It got more interesting as we went for breakfast the following morning it was such a disappointment. There was barely any fruit, just grapefruit and apples. Considering the amount of fruit available in the markets we thought there would be a little more variety. But there really isn’t that much variety and every day it’s the exact same thing. A load of cheese and a load of bread. The cereal looks like something only children would eat and the juices are all cordials. The tea is overly brewed and the coffee machine often stopped working.
For someone who is vegetarian or vegan the hotel barely caters for this. There is very limited choice. The food is boiled and bland and most of it tastes like it comes out of a tin can. The meat is all processed. We had lamb koftas the first day and it didn’t even taste of lamb, it taste very spongy and fake. I don’t think there was one day when we could say we enjoyed breakfast, lunch or dinner at this hotel. The worst part was whatever salad like the tomatoes or cucumber wasn’t eaten at lunch, it was brought out later at dinner. We could tell that this was constantly happening because the salad bar options all looked very dry. Not to forget the many flies that were always flying around.
We opted for an all inclusive package. BIGGEST MISTAKE! If you’re reading this please do not waste your money on their all inclusive as it is not worth it at all. The only things included in this package is water bottles, watered down beer in tiny paper cups and watered down shots of weird alcohol and tea and coffee. Cocktails are not included at all. But anyway I’m not sure I’d want a cocktail because all the alcohol was literally watered down. It did not even taste of alcohol.
As for snacks included in the all inclusive deal, it’s only dried out over fried chips and burgers which again taste fake and spongy. For anyone whose vegetarian, sorry it’s only those dry chips. Everyday!
On the bright side between 1-2pm they do ice cream which was probably the only thing that taste good.
The food and drinks were honestly so disappointing. This was the only holiday where we barely ate anything just because of how horrible it was.
Luckily we didn’t let the hotel ruin our holiday. We still had a great time in Alanya and went to Kleopatra beach and to an amazing restaurant called Mezze Grill. We even went back to the restaurant because of the amazing service and the delicious food. Definitely a place to go if you’re looking to eat really good foodresponse / report this review -

Worst place ever. It's a joke. Never again will I be coming here. Defo not a 5 star as it say more like a 2star. Noone here hardly speaks english and they dont want to help with nothing just keep forbbing you of. They messed up my transfer back. So had to pay 100 euro to get bk to airport.

I'll try to be as objective as possible in this review.
For the first time I will highlight the positive aspects, after which I will list the least positive (negative somehow) .. ;)
Positive:
-very good and quiet location,in a small new city,full of nice blocks of flats
-sea water is very clean
-the menu of the restaurant is very varied (of course we can not have the desire to align our kitchen, from the perspective of different religions ..
-the beach is quiet and the vendors, photographers or other categories of people who want to sell something are missing
-Varied musical program at the outdoor pool (disco, rock and roll, pop, etc.)
Negative:
-the hotel can not be classified as 5 stars as the travel agency has sold it. In the most honest way it can be 3+ (from all points of view)
-the lack of internet at a 5-star hotel I paid 28 euros for two phones for 7 days
-in a 5 star hotel you can not enter the main restaurant and for a fresh orange to pay 1 euro

I stayed there for 3 days nice hotel the beach was clean the bar workers were friendly and helpful. A lot of food types to choose from . The pool and the slides were really nice . We had a small problem in our room regarding the lights it were kind of dark but other than that it was nice 3 days vacation
