Cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in! Showers were great, toilets were clean. The room was spotless and the heater worked great on the snowy night :)

As always with yha great quality. Comfy beds decent sized rooms big kitchen. And a lovely quiet area. Perfect place to stay for all the hikes in the area and for driving down to milford sound

Friendly staff, cozy common area and great kitchen. The room and bathroom are very clean. Can't fault it. No. 1 choice with no doubt if I come Te Anau again.

I had a double room with private bathroom. Rooms are clean and the shower was fantastic. The communal kitchen is well set out.

Rooms are clean - I chose the dorm rooms. The whole motel is clean, and maintained really well. I'd say its alive than most of the motels with people hanging out even late at night in the lounge or outside in the garden. Showers are clean as well. Definitely coming back.

We really like the YHA in Te Anau, it had all the facilities you could hope for and was quite clean. I did wish the kitchen was a bit bigger, and the bedrooms did not have lockers, which I was really disappointed by. They did have some available for a small fee though. All together a fine place to stay.
