Good place to stay, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable beds, great place to make a home base for Te Anau adventures. One criticism of all Bella Vistas on the south island is the continental breakfast. Overpriced for what you get (yogurt packages, cereal boxes, grocery store bread). Spend less in town for prepared meals.

Part of the Bella Vista chain and as such, is similar to the others. If you are travelling alone, a 'compact' room is perfectly comfortable but may be a little small if you are a couple or more or like to spread out a bit. Would use this chain again.

Nice location near the CBD. Great place to spend an overnight on your way to Milford Sound. Clean cozy rooms.

The hotel rooms were clean, simple, and comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly and didn't charge left and right for everything. Free parking and accessible. I highly recommend.
