  For what is available and at it's price point I think this is a great place. I was unsure what to expect before I arrived but I was genuinely surprised.
  The area is beautiful with parks, mall and supermarkets all nearby.
  The property itself is massive but well maintained and the staff really do have your best interests at heart.
  The rooms aren't breathtaking but they're functional and secure and the communal areas are cleaned regularly.
  
  I have been here 3 weeks and I'm quite content to stay for a while longer.

  Nice and clean, friendly stuff! I spent 6 months here, and I can recommend this place! Nice and worm in the winter, enough facilities, close to the bus and the shops.Hornby mall is not very far too.

  If you want to mix with the locals, best place to be. Many people there are underpriveliged like many people in NZ are. It has clean rooms, nice and warm, good furniture. Very secure because of video surveillance in every floor, shared facilities. I didn't even lock my door; anyone who'd enter without permission would be crazy- it's all recorded. Great staff- especially Jenny, Jane and Chris! A pleasure to live with real down to earth Kiwis.
  You should experience the Christmas and New Year's party! Family atmosphere. Will always be my home when I have the opportunity to live in Christchurch. LIz Laylor is great landlord. Christian from Germany
