  $160 for one overnight stay in a tiny little cabin with a bunk bed and double bed, with a outside toilet and the condition of the room - was not worth It! There were cockroaches everywhere!! Spiders everywhere, but spiders are okay. Cockroaches are disgusting! We spent 2 hours cleaning up the place. Moved furniture because the cockroaches were everywhere and the space where the couch was, was just disgusting!! Gross gross gross! Bites all over me! Waste of money! The bunk bed had a cheap foam mattress on it that you can feel the metal poles when you lay or sit on it. The rooms lightbulb was out. Terrible place
  and way overpriced. Don't waste your money here people. We wanted to go to hot water beach and the gates didn't open till 7am. We sat and waited from 6.30am as there is a limited amount of time for the tides at the beach and we couldn't get out cause there was no one at reception. If there was an emergency and we needed to get out there is a huge chain on the gate and no key provid.ed to allow residence to get out. So stupid!! Like a prison.

  Last September I made a booking for Easter weekend. When alerted to the negative reviews on a web site I cancelled the booking. I was charged $25 cancellation fee despite the cancellation being 6 months before the booking date.
  This weekend Mr Jonas called me and informed me that I would be charged for the weekend as I was a “no show”. His manner was rude and he hung up when I argued I had cancelled.
  Unfortunately I do not have a record of the cancellation as the emails were sent via the campground web site and Mr Jonas did not reply to either of my two emails. With no response I called him to confirm the cancellation. Mr Jonas says he has no record of those emails and has told me that my phone call, which I could get proof of, didn’t count. (I have since seen that failing to respond to emails has been mentioned in other reviews)
  As Mr Jonas rebooked for two nights I have been charged for one night plus the cancellation fee. I am still puzzled as to how he can admit to charging a cancellation fee but deny receiving a cancellation notice?
