  Campus is beautiful, but the university is not good value for money. Outdated material, and unmotivated staff.
  My advice for any international student considering studying at Waikato is: Don't. There are plenty of better options out there.

  What a dumpster fire of a University. They started charging for parking, although due to Hamilton's rubbish public transport - everyone still has to drive anyway. I've been in and out of hospital for almost a decade, and the university would refuse to give me any kind of leniency. Even when fresh out of surgery - I could never get any kind of close parking.   The 3rd top university in New Zealand. Have an amazing infrastructure as well as dedicated and fabulous faculty. It feels like haven!

  Doesn't offer much in the way of on campus fun (especially now student union donations are optional), and while I had some amazing teachers, others came across as bored and without passion (this was a common complaint from my peers as well). More funding should go to live music, on campus markets, more interesting food (have you geard the legend that was Wheel Cake Man?), and more staff perks to keep the staff enthusiastic.

  For bravely bringing to the fore accredited investigative findings of social issues that are currently adversely affect the lives of people in New Zealand.

  The staff are very friendly and able to help. The many facilities and diverse range of people from around the world. What ever your into, there are clubs to join your need or hobby, you also can create it if its not there.
