Great hotel and the owner Dean is super nice and fun to talk to. He gives you coffee, a cookie, tea, and the room is super nice and well maintained. Wifi password is actually on the wall in the room (more places need to do this) so you don't have to ask for it.

Nice motel on the edge of center of town. Our unit was clean and can sleep 5. There were microwave, frig, electric stove, pots and pans, and utensils. The only negative thing was that you can hear everything happening upstairs.

Racist staffs and owners. They chased us away while we were eating together with family in the car at the parking after checking out. I don't recommend if your not white.

Good location. Near supermarket and restaurants. Convenient to drive to waitamo cave. Room condition was good and staff are nice.

Great place to stop on the way to the mountain - It's about half way from Auckland. Nice bar in the village for dinner.
