Stayed at this hotel for a conference. I left two expensive dresses behind by accident in the hotel. The dresses were not handed in by the cleaners and 'disappeared'. Obviously upsetting having items of my stolen. But what is worse hotel didn't take it seriously or accept responsibility for their staff. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Ideal location right next to main shopping-, entertainment-, cafe house-, government places in Wellington. 3 min. to Te Papa and right along the Oriental Bay water front parade. Nice mid-range hotel, quiet, stylish foyer, and bar.

Great location. Central to everything. Staff were fantastic & went out of their way to be helpful & friendly. Dined in the restaurant twice as the food was so good. My only two suggestions for improvement would be that the "scrambled" eggs in the breakfast buffet could be greatly improved & a fan in the rooms wouldn't go astray as the rooms tended to be quite stuffy at night, even with both windows open.
Would definitely stay there again & would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Wellington.
