Perfectly decent, does what is says on the tin. Nice central accomodation for a decent price with free but annoying wifi.

Old, in need of modernisation. Our room was very noisy as it was close to the lift.
Small space but the bed was super comfy with an electric blanket.

Friendly service, easy check in and out. The the rooms aren't anything fancy, but are good for the price. Make sure your try the bar downstairs.

Location to all attractions and CBD very good everything within 10/20 min. walk. Front desk staff very helpful and accommodating.. storing our luggage and calling taxis when needed. BUTroom very small and dated badly in need of doing up. It felt 'tired' and very dusty. Cleanliness an issue in the bathroom. Black mildew in the shower and a cracked hand basin which should have been cleaner.

Don't make the same mistake we did. Trinity hotel was the worst hotel experience of our lives.

Our room smelled of mould so strongly that we had to keep the window open all night. Our sheets were stained, the wifi didn't work, the minibar right next to the bed was louder than anything outside. The bathroom was full of silverfish, the shower curtain didn't keep the water in, and the leaky toilet kept refilling loudly all night.

We checked out early and got a room 20x nicer down the road for basically the same price.

Small rooms but clean and tidy. Some rooms have a view others look out to a brick wall/alley way. Great if you are just wanting to put your head down for a night or two. Great location easy walking distance to attractions/shopping /train station.

Central location with very reasonable price. Love their unlimited free fast WIFI which is a rare breed. Room is clean, albeit no air-con which can be warm during summer but they provide fan.

Small rooms but for the price it was fine. Really lovely staff. Parking is very limited and we were very lucky to get a park. Close to lots of food and drinks.

Prior to booking, I contacted the hotel to ask if there was 24 hour checkin and to ensure we could check in at 3am - 'Jyanti', explained that the help desk is 24 hours and we could check in. Coming down from Auckland, arrived at 5am, to find 'Swasti', he said we could not check in and that check in is at 2pm, explaining our situation he said theres nothing we can do, and you can check in at 2pm. Apparently ' there was nothing in his power and no on site manager was available. Where was he expecting us to sleep at 5am after driving for 9 and a half hours?

After 40 minutes he explained he could give us a twin room but pay a seperate rate, after a long disagreement, about failing to communicate their policy properly, and sticking to their original confirmation, he again said this is all I can do. Again after another 20 minutes, he mentions he can give us the room at the oringial rate in the confirmation and a manager will be present on site at 7am to speak with.

The service is appalling, and the floor manager who made contact did not let us speak! Trinity hotel needs to make clear the policies, learn how to deal with customer queries and complaints rectify issues there and then. Coming from an Employee of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, this is shocking! DO NOT GO TO TRINITY HOTEL, STAY ELSEWHERE! Theres a Mercure hotel across the street.

PS it might help to tell your house keepers to KNOCK before entering ANY room even if there is no sign ON THE DOOR! Ridiculous.

Rooms were alright, clean enough for a few night's stay. Friendly staff. Shame about breakfast in the morning. Ordered food and coffee 50min before having to attend a conference, one of the first to order coffee and one of the last to receive. Never got my food, checked several times and told it was coming, saw the chief dump the poached eggs I was waiting for and told I would now have to wait another 5 minutes. Not happy about that.
