  We found the Cafe quaint with locally made souvenirs for sale there is plenty to look over, buy your train ticket and sit at the bench tables on the platform while waiting for the train to arrive. The station provides a carpark, toilets, bikes for hire and information on the Rail Trail.

  Wonderful spot! Can get a bit too busy when a train is coming or going, but very peaceful in-between. Gluten free friendly!

  Ideal location provides the perfect excuse to break your bike ride up the Hauraki Rail Trail. Try not to arrive just after the train from Waihi disgorges a couple of carriage loads of passengers. A little expensive but delicious food and ample portions.
