Felt like staying in a haunted house. Staircase was too narrow to carry big luggage up. Requested for other rooms but was told not available when not many are occupied. Worst accommodation during my 10 days in North Island.

Great location walking distance to most things in wellington. we stayed in one of the new rooms which was very nice. hotel quality. easy no hassle booking and paying. and the bonus of free parking which came in handy. good place highly recommend.

The lodge is really comfortable with everything you need. Then it's only a 5 minute walk to get I to town

Great motel! I stayed here for a night mostly due to the free parking (technically, it's first come first serve, but there's a good number of spots). Booked one of the Edwardian house rooms, which is more like a suite without a kitchen (drawing room, bedroom and bathroom). Had no problems.
