We used the water taxi to go to the hot water beach. We got such a warm welcome at the office and a bit of historic back ground on Tarawera mountain. The scenery to and at the beach is breathtaking. We did a short hike and then went to soak in the water while taking in the scenery. There is an amazing glamping camp which we will have to go back to for a few days stay. Friendly and down to earth skipper operating the water taxi. We will be back and recommend this as a must to when you are in the area. Check out Totally Tarawera for all they have to offer.
