It might seem weird as I own my own bookshop but City Books & Lotto is a regular stop for me. The staff know what books they have and they keep up to date on new releases and quality back-list. I've bought a few books there recently including "Ka Whawhai Tonu Matou - Struggle Without End" by Ranginui Walker, "Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle and other bestsellers.

Went here seeking books by NZ authors and was rudely reprimanded for writing down names of authors for future reference. The selection is sparse and much of the stock was damaged, would highly recommend shopping around the corner at Atlantis Books where they have a great selection of new and secondhand titles at great prices with a very friendly and helpful counter attendant.
