You clearly see this Cobb & Co from the main road, Fenton Street, where there's a long strip of motels, but finding the entrance is much more difficult. Don't try entering from the McDonald's car park, head right around the other side beside the Warehouse. The place was buzzing, clean and tidy and the staff are very proficient and food and drinks arrive promptly. It is not a cozy place to dine, full of noisy happy customers. The prices are middle of the road and the meals are not huge, but are certainly big enough. There is a bar and sports tv to watch.

Have mixed feelings towards the place. The kiddie bacon burger was okay but it didn't have enough bacon on it. The desert was amazing and the staff are friendly.

We had just experienced zorbing at OGO and were so hungry for grub we could literally eat anything. We hadn't eaten anything for breakfast since we didn't want to risk getting sick inside the ball and end up vomiting all over the place. So you can imagine how excited I was to try out Cobb & Co.
I did not like a single thing that everyone at our table ordered. Maybe the chef was having a bad day, everything just didn't taste right.
My roast chicken was overcooked to the point that it fried itself on its own fat. That's right, it came out looking and tasting like fried chicken. The chicken wings also tasted like paper (It's a hyperbole, of course, but you get the point).
The lamb shank was delicious, but the serving was appropriate for someone the size of a garden gnome. The mash that it was served was twice as big.
The interior, however, was beautiful. If they had another branch somewhere, I would probably give it another go.response / report this review -

Had never been here before. Was very happy with the entire experience. Had 3 kids with us. Great kids meals too. Highly recommended. Great table service by Ra.

Bland, told the staff about rotten potato's in meal to which they asked "did you advise your waiter" to which we confirmed we did and neither supplied as much as an apology never mind anything else. Rest of party were not impressed with meals, pretty run of the mill nothing special

Such a great experience! Absolutely perfect for us as parents dining with a toddler. Service was impeccable, food delicious and such a great atmosphere. Food arrived so quickly we had to order another drink so we could stay a bit longer! Will absolutely be back next time we're in Rotorua. Shout out to our waitress Darcy who was fantastic

Great staff . Clean . Good prices miss the vegetables you would get when ordering a roast meal. Now you get vegetables like a stir fry. Not roast vegetables

I visited the Rotorua branch last night while on holiday. It was great!
As a child, I often went to it while it was in my home city. The company services and catering for all ages groups is as well done with friendly, professional staff and food as tasty as I remember it from all those years ago.response / report this review
