Lovely camping place with nice facilities and a very good price. The kitchen is big and the people are very friendly.

The owners make this place which is a former hospital. Hard working and very friendly. We loved its quirkyness and the space. Lots of rooms to unwind in. Free tea coffee and biscuits and wifi. Lots of amenities nearby including museum, supermarket, eateries and sights including seals and sealions at Nugget Point, Surat Bay and Cannibal Bay. Much better place to stay than the Catlins Kiwi Holiday Park up the road which had no amenities near it and the staff were not as helpful.

Great unlimited wifi and an awesome kitchen and lounge area. Price was great for what you get.

This lodge is the most spooky place I've every been. It's old and degenerated. The corridors are long and gray. In the rooms are cobwebs hanging with dead flies. The bathrooms are even worse. And it's expensive! I can not recommend this place at all!

We were five people and got the whole top floor! It was tidy, we got towels, linens and shower soaps, quite a success! The manager was friendly as well!
