Great place to stay, hospitality is right up there just awesome. The menu at the whistling frog cafe bar and restaurant is delicious. Cooked beautifully. I love it there so relaxing with beautiful mother nature and great staff

Good place to stay. Clean, nice staff, good facilities. We had a nice stay over here. Short drive (3k) + 20 min walk to McLean waterfall.

Came here with a campervan and was charged $45 for 2 people on a powered site. Had dinner at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great service and friendly staff. Average but clean toilet, kitchen and dining areas. Plenty of flies about. Not bad for being in the middle of nowhere.

Had lunch at the café. Food was average but expensive. Kids meals not good at all, deep fried chicken nuggets with fries for NZD 14!! That's just rip off Person who took the order said everything is fresh and home grown and therefore a bit more on the pricy side. Yeah, sure

Perfect place in the middle of no where. Plenty of outdoors activities at your fingertips.
