  Proper sized pints! And reasonable price. Good food deals during the week. Could do with more seating for sports events

  I'm a big fan of the kingslander. We come to the pub quiz every week, watch rugby and other sports here, and have been to many events at the nectar lounge upstairs. The food is great, beers are cold can't complain

  Every Friday apparently they bring in the top rated local talent, and glad they did bc they brought the jazz infused Bad Apples to the stage. Some other good acts too. Most tap choices are only Monteith's. Got some basic whiskey/Irish whiskey bottles for decent price. Couches and other seating available.

  Wouldn't waste my time going back there after the jerk offs on the door refused entry to my friend after the All Blacks test, stating he was "swaying" while standing in the line waiting to get in. Funny thing was, he had only had 6 or 7 beers over the space of 5 hours. Swaying was more like shivering in the rain while these wankers made everyone wait forever even though the bar wasn't even full - just trying to make the place look busy. There's plenty of better pubs to spend my money at!

  Not a bad experience but food needs to be improved. My lamb rack came with a dark brown sauce which was tasteless and really didn't help anything on the plate. It would have been better not to include it.

  Always love coming here. Love the food and the service! I had the rib eye steak last time which was cooked to perfection and came with mac and cheese rather than the usual fries soooo tasty!

  Ok sports bar. Great if you want to watch a game with others. Slightly weird layout so not the best atmosphere.
